We stayed here for Sinulog, and overall, we had a good experience! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the Capitol and right near the parade route, which made it super convenient. We loved how easy it was to get around.
The staff were really accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was a decent size and comfortable for the two of us. The only issue was that the walls were quite thin—we could hear our neighbors partying late at night, which made it a bit hard to sleep.

Very noisy, to avoid for insomniacs!
Our room (on the 6th floor) overlooks a major road and so we can hear the horns, the petarades of motorcycles and the barking of dogs all night. A nightmare. And to top our misfortune, there is no hot water when we wanted to take a shower in the morning and the water pressure is very low and for the final bouquet, e breakfast is horrible. Luckily we only stayed there for 2 nights.
Yet, there are few things missing to make this a perfect 3-star hotel:
- soundproof the double-windowed rooms,
- Improve breakfast offers with more choices (especially Western),
- Completely review the shower water system (more pressure and hot water available all the time)
In fact, it’s mostly a hotel that hosts a lot of groups (Korean and Chinese TOs) who are perhaps less demanding on the points raised. We were the only Western customers.
PS: I still have a hard time understanding why Agoda recommends these types of hotels in its offers. Yeah, but... I now understand why Agoda demanded full payment and no possibility of refund of my stay when I booked.

We sincerely apologize that your two-night stay with us was such a deeply uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Please know that we take all feedback seriously, and the issues you've raised—particularly regarding basic comfort and function—are unacceptable.
We are truly sorry that you suffered from noise-induced insomnia due to the room's exposure to the major road on the 6th floor. We understand that road noise, horns, and even barking dogs can be incredibly disruptive, and this is far from the restful stay you should expect.
The lack of hot water and the very low water pressure in the morning is a significant failure in our service we had reviewed and there was an intermittent power interruption and we apologize for this inconvenience. We are currently having our engineering team completely review and prioritize the hot water and pressure systems across the hotel, as this must be reliably available for all guests, all the time.
Finally, we hear your feedback that the breakfast was horrible and lacked sufficient Western choices. Your description gives us a clear area for immediate improvement. We are working with our Food & Beverage team to expand the buffet to include more diverse, high-quality options that cater better to all international travelers.
Your suggestions are precise and helpful, and we are acting on them immediately:

The hotel is centrally located near the provincial capitol. All the staff are helpful. Good selection with their buffet breakfast and we had a good sleep over at the sixth floor.
