Cheap, clean, well located amazing staff

Very basic and tipical small hostel but perfect if you are looking for a cheap, clean and nice place to stay.
Loved the staff JJ is super sweet and the food is incredible, also they have happy hour every day rhum and coke 35 php, 10 minutes walk from the famous chili bar and the “Beach”.
They organise tours and are very helpful.
Rooms are very basic and small but you not gonna spend long time in it anyway.

just ok...

it's about 1km from the beach, so not so bad. and you pass many stalls and shops to get there. i stayed in a small room with a fan. for 800 pesos it was the standard price. maybe 100 more perhaps. the wifi was good. unfortunately there was a bonfire going all day and the next morning too. in the back garden of the property. it was pretty noxious. breakfast is included but is a joke - half a slice of bread and scrambled egg. bathroom very basic. personally i would not stay again but i didn't care for moalboal much so won't be rushing back!

Amazing !!

Such lovely staff and so so sooooo helpful !! Forever grateful
Very clean and so friendly.
Helped us with our trips made us feel at home.
Soon as we checked in to check out they made us feel so comfortable and made sure our water bottles were always filled up for trips !!!

One fan between 4

Stayed in a dorm, booked for the 4 bed dorm, tryed to put us in the 12 bed dorm at first until we showed the booking confirmation. The 4 bed dorm has ONE fan between all the room so is very hot!!! Rooms need renovation big time.
Just do yourself a favour and pay a little extra and stay else were.

Rooms need improvement

JJ’s is more expensive than some more comfortable options nearby. The staff are lovely and the bar area is a good place for a casual beer and burger. But the dorm rooms are a little too basic for the price. Some windows in the rooms would help keep the heat down
