Luxurious and relaxing stay in paradise

Beautifully located resort with only 10 villas directly on the sea. Crystal clear water, accessible via stairs or (much funnier!) via a diving board. If you don’t like it, just relax in the infinity pool. The whole team around hosts Ann and Metin is great, warm and very attentive. If you have a request, a question or a request, you will be helped immediately. For example, we rented scooters and took a day trip with the wonderful tour guide Hezel - just let us know at the reception, and there are all possibilities open to you! The villas are beautiful - have spent a few nights in both types each and were delighted. Tastefully decorated, you can hardly speak of “standard” in the standard villas - the bathroom is huge, everything is sparkling clean and many small wonderful touches make the stay luxurious and unique. The premium villa is actually an elegant holiday home, perfect for a stay of four or five, with living room, 2 bedrooms and lots of exclusive privacy. We also used the spa, the treatments and massages were wonderful. The restaurant and the “Bar Berlin” are the best of the Camotes, the pizza from the only pizza oven on the islands phenomenal! Although actually not our habit otherwise, we ate at the resort every night - the choice and quality of food were just too tempting! The evening sunsets the icing on the cake of a stay in paradise. We spent a week here with three with big daughter - and we will definitely come back!

Could Not Be Better! Perfect!

The review will likely be lengthy, which is a testament to what an amazing experience I had here with my family! Traveling from the US in early July, we had planned on staying for 4 days at this resort after researching it intensively, Typhoon Bavi had a different plan for us, we would get to stay an extra few days at this wonderful resort. From start to finish, I was impressed with the location, the rooms and with my highest regards to the wonderful and hardworking staff. The owners of this resort are so fortunate to have such a hard-working, collaborative staff with very high attention to detail. In fact, I was so impressed with this hidden gem, on my next trip back to the Philippines, I went out of my way (and out of my plan) to stay here once again.
Now for the details, I stayed in family suite #9, which is spacious, designed beautifully, serviced with impeccable attention to detail, with lovely fixtures and all of the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. On my second trip, I was in a smaller casa, #8 and I found the same to be true; wonderful size for two people. Beautiful art, and very peaceful. The location is incredibly special, it is a small quiet space off the beaten path, a great location for looking out at the water and watching the sun fall. There were plenty of amenities to keep kiddos busy and plenty of peace to find a special spot to curl up with a good book. Being a person with a number of food restrictions, I was always offered alternatives or ways to modify food offerings to adjust to my dietary needs. The food was outstanding and serving were portioned generously.
Now for the staff; Mark at the bar, was fabulous, always greeted with a smile and most accommodating, as was Fritz. Our almost personal waiters who brought room service and worked hard to make sure all orders were taken with clarity and precious, whom I just adored were Berney and Accisa and Vannes (what a hard-working team) and I wish I could bring them home with me! Ruth and Marciel at the front desk, these two went out of their way for us on so so many occasions! From my question before we even arrived (which were numerous) they answered with precision and accuracy, when we were stranded with weather events, they were constantly checking conditions and ferry schedules on our behalf, their genuine kindness and concern that we made it to the next part of our travels was felt deeply by my family and I appreciate them beyond measure. They really went our of their way daily to make sure all of our needs were met. They set up for special occasions and organized things so beautifully. The communication with the staff so things run smoothly, really was impressive. I don’t know the names of the people who came to service our room each day, but sufficient to say our room was spotless and perfect, every single day. Not a single small detail was ever overlooked and I am the type of person that can always find fault. There was simply nothing overlooked. Now for the drivers, there were two guys named Markeboy and Kentoy, that would leave their homes at all hours of the day/night to come collect our ridiculous amount of belonging (SCUBA gear) and load us up to take us to ferry to see if Coast Guard had lifted restrictions, as we were on a tight schedule to make it to liveaboard SCUBA trip out of Cebu City, these guys lost sleep for days trying to accommodate us, put us at ease, secure tickets, look for alternatives (along with Maricel and Ruth.) The kindness the two gentleman offered, day after day should be recognized and rewarded.
If you have read to the end of this long review, look no further, you have found the best spot to stay in the Phillippines with a top notch staff at a fair price. I will be back many times in the future and I typically only go to a “spot” a single time, I will tell all of my friends. If you are reading this as management or owners, please reward this lovely staff and yourselves. You have created a beautiful spot, I have not a single complaint about my two trips to this resort and miss the special connections we made on the Oh So Lovely, Camotes Islands!

Amazing stay in Camotes

Casa Verde is a very special place- modern, beautiful, and upscale in Camotes Island. I am glad that we had the experience of staying at this beautiful property.
Unfortunately, we experienced a very strange lack of attention after checking-in. I booked a premium villa and two regular villas for two nights. None of the villas were serviced after our first night- meaning no water carafes were refilled, wet / dirty towels were not replaced, and beds were not made. This is after I had specifically asked for the premium villa to be cleaned. There were also no pool towels and we had to use bath towels for everything for 2.5 days.
All of the staff we encountered were professional and happy to help- but I expected more from Casa Verde. Even mid-range hotels service rooms.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty and atmosphere of Casa Verde, but we sincerely apologize for the housekeeping and pool towel concerns during your stay. We understand your expectations, and we’re sorry we fell short. We truly appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our service moving forward. ❤️

Our stay at the resort was made truly exceptional because of the amazing staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to Dhen Carl Noval who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment of our stay. Their friendly attitude, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really stood out. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and passionate about providing excellent service. Because of them, our vacation became even more relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back.
