Great experience at Cebu R Hotel!

Facilities are all okay, except that they don't have a hand railing in the shower room for Seniors and P W D; their shampoo and soap are fragrant, but only very few, but I was able to use their shampoo and soap, though so tiny. Their shower has hot and cold too. Generally better and okay. Service really went well with the price which is 3K + per night. There is just a very noisy alarm in the morning that is so loud due to an earthquake drill. Overall experience, their customer service is really very good. Their food is also super yummyLicious! Their accessible location is at Mabolo, Cebu City. I can easily book In Drive taxi thru my phone. Phone signal and internet access is really very good.

Do not stay here in room 503 for your sanity. Bad hotel maintenance ruined our stay.

The hotel started out fine for the first night. Some linens were very old and gray, one sheet had holes worn through. The promised city view turned out to be a concrete wall, no view at all.
But the second night was hell due to condensate water dripping onto our aircon from the one/s on the upper floor/s making a torturing dinging noise. The drains on the units are obviously disconnected.
After we complained at 3am, the receptionist climbed out of the window to put towels onto the aircon unit, he was obviously used to doing it so this is not an unusual problem. Of course once they were soaked the noise persisted, all night.
Next morning the manager was completely disinterested in our distress and disregarded the lack of maintenance causing the problem. No solution was offered.
We decided to not stay another night even though we had paid, and we left. We will seek a substantial refund from Priceline and Agoda for the lost 2 nights.
A real shame as the hotel otherwise is great, but if you cannot sleep there is no point in booking a room.
So beware of room 503, do not stay there unless you enjoy water torture.

Theft at the hotel !

Unfortunately, we were robbed at the hotel. That's not possible. A new flashlight (gift for a friend) and various other things have been stolen. I have never experienced anything like this in the Philippines.
So watch out!
One star is still too many here.

Very bad

Poor breakfast
Not at all clean under the bed
My child peed on the bed I was asked to pay 200 pesos better not accepted baby or elderly
Check in trop attente
Elevator too slow
The positive friendly staff and the Location but I find better elsewhere
I will never come back to this hotel again

Cebu R

Clean, basic hotel. Breakfast included, from 7am to 10am, with a lot of choices. Kudos to Jay-An at the front desk who patiently attended to all our inquiries and requests. Water dispenser provided for, just bring your own bottle to refill from the dispenser.
