Wonderful!

The finest hostel I've ever visited! The turtles and sardines are situated directly in front of it. Staffs are outstanding. Their prices are reasonable for the excellent tours they provide! Bars and restaurants are only a short distance away. Due to its comfort and quietness, I was also able to have an amazing night's rest. Very recommended

The worst experience in a hostel in South East Asia

We originally booked 3 nights but only stayed 1. Firstly, we booked as a group of 3 females and got separated straight away so 1 had to sleep in a different dorm. The bathrooms are dirty, and smelt of sick. We were told the dorms don’t lock and the front gate of the hostel was open all night.
At 1am one of the girls in the dorm alone was woken up by a mouse in her bed!!! There was no security / staff at reception so we messaged the hostel. They said security was off sick. As we were outside trying to sort this out, we saw a dirty tampon on the floor at reception. Another girl in the dorm found earwigs in their bed too. Luckily we got a refund but there was no apology from staff when we talked to them about it in the morning. Very uncomfortable and disappointing situation.

Moana Beach House in Panagsama, Moalboal, Cebu is an absolute gem! This place has everything a cool girl could want for a perfect beach getaway. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help out and make your stay awesome. The rooms are stylish, clean, and the beds are super comfy – perfect for getting a good night's sleep after a day of adventure.
