Located in Moalboal, 300 metres from Panagsama Beach, Roos Guesthouse has a garden and a terrace. It also features a a bar and a seating/lounge area. Every room has a private bathroom and a terrace with a garden view.

You would be a fool to stay anywhere else
Don't let the budget price fool you, Roos is genuinely nice. There's no aspect of staying here that feels like you are roughing it like most budget lodging.
The room is nice and clean, the bed is comfortable, the wifi is fast, the included breakfast is tasty, and the shower is hot. The owners Werner and Hanna (and their little girl Amber) are extremely helpful and the women who work for them are absolute saints. Werner even found me a place to sing karaoke with some new friends when all the regular karaoke places had live bands on a Friday night.
Roos is on a quiet side road so the only noise you here are roosters (unavoidable in small town Philippines). A white noise machine or ear plugs will do the trick for them. It's a 2 minute walk to the main road where all the restaurants are and maybe a 6 or 7 minute walk to the beach.
The company they recommended for Kawasan Falls canyoneering did a good job, but leaving at 9 am is a recipe to be with a billion other people between the group you're with and other groups. I strongly recommend trying to go much earlier in the morning even if this costs more.

The best value in moalboal
We came here in part of a long trip for three nights
First of all the staff here was amazing from the workers to to owner that in the second he was in the guesthouse he come over to welcome us
The location was perfect in center of the main street
and Close by to everything
The room was cleen and with a toom service
Very good wife all the time and warm water with a high level shower
Very good value for money 10/10

Unforgettable Experience ❤️❤️❤️
It's more than a perfect accommodation. The staff will not treat you as a guest, but as a family. Hospitality, accommodating staff, you name it, more than a 5-star hotel. Kudos to ate Badin and kuya night shift and to the owner Sir Werner & Ms. Hannah. Experience is really unforgettable and will surely refer to my friends and family. God Speed Roos Guesthouse ❤️❤️❤️

Pleasant stay in an excellent location
We enjoyed our stay at Roo’s guesthouse and would recommend it to others staying in Moalboal
Pros:
-The guesthouse is excellently located - a short walk from Panagsama beach and a lot of restaurants
-Drinking water available
-Varied breakfast selection included
-Good WIFI and AC
-Outside areas to chill in
-Twin room was clean and fairly comfortable (though note that it was a bunk bed), towels provided
What could have been better:
-The bathroom is very small, the shower gets everything wet - though the water pressure is great and the water is warm
-Often there was loud music from neighbouring places late at night or early in the morning
-Pancake breakfast isn’t good, get another option :)

Thank you for your review and mentioning all our plus points....
About the things what could be better:
I agree the bathroom is small, as when we started this guesthouse the building was already built. But we compensate that as you already mentioned with a hot/cold shower and good waterpressure...in our 2e guesthouse what is opening soon and we are building ourselves, the bathroom will have a separate shower.
Unfortunately Philippines is a noicy country and sometimes our neighbours get a bit crazy with their music. Luckely nowadays it's only sometimes as we keep complaining ofcourse.
About the pancakes I need to check what is wrong as we normally got very good reviews about our delicious pancakes.....so I will check that.

Good location and great owner
We didn’t stay here but used them for trips. The owner is always on site and very very helpful and will respond to emails promptly. Place looked very in order and is a great location to stay for western guests. We met people staying here who said it was good and reasonably priced. Really nice place, good value and we wish we had stayed here. The kittens were lovely to!
