Monsoon visit

I arrived off the overnight ferry from Manila so was really happy to get an immediate check in to my room.
Very basic but warm showers, air con that worked and wi fi! For the price I paid it was exactly what I got.
Free toiletries every day too.
I had breakfast here several times and as per other places in Philippines there were rice and egg and chicken options. Not what us Brits would normally have but again no issues at all. Cooked by multi talented reception staff.
There were Issues with my safe not working so I was given a key to the safe instead. No problem! The young man on reception arranged a tuk tuk for me to go to the animal shelter to volunteer plus arranged a super early tuk tuk to take me to the ferry terminal on my departure,
I made a mistake when I came here as I arrived in the monsoon season so had a lot of rain to contend with plus roads that looked like rivers at points. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main stretch where the bars & restaurants are.
For a low cost hotel this hotel is perfectly represented. The staff here are wonderful.

Low water pressure is probably the only major thing. But we mainly use it just to stay long enough to sleep take a shower and then takeoff and run around all day. So it worked out well for us. Everybody was very nice.

Quiet location friendly staff

Hotel 10 minutes from the center of Coron very close to the boarding for trips. Small but clean room with AC (a bit noisy) but in need of renovation. All in all a good option for a few days. Breakfast not included in the room rate but tea and coffee are free. They help you book tours and mopeds.

Small friendly hotel with good value for money

The staff is at the top, they have always informed us with a lot of patience, their advice proved very interesting both for renting a scooter and on excursions.
The hotel is charming located a little behind the main street and it is very good... the cleaning of the rooms is done only on request so as not to disturb us. Breakfasts are perfect with a reasonable price. The rooms with balcony and sea view is correct, little extra for hot water and very good water pressure, functional air conditioning.
Beware this city is really an impressive anthill but as always well organized and you feel after an adaptation of benevolence.
The hotel has a good value for money.

I guess it is not worst option in Philippines, but frankly it sucks... Very disappoining about Philippines

We ordered luxe for 3800 peso and wait several hours for clean room, and get bunch of problems:
1) they forgot to bring second cup
2) they forgot to change teeth brush for previous Customer
3) Safe has no batteries
4) one power socket is not working
5) no sleepers in the room
6) water in swimming pool is dirty (leaves, insects)
7) the bags with creamer don't have cut to open it without knife
Don't come to Philippines, it sucks, just come to Thailand
Why we need to pay for them if we need to think for them?
P.S. Hotel workers was very polite
