Good value, excellent staff
The staff is very professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
The diving is superb, and the guides are incredibly good at spotting stuff.
I had a small hut with a fan, actually probably better than ac - even for me, coming from the winter of Finland.

Friendly dive center
Did 10 dives with this center located right it front Apo island. Staff is very kind. Even if I was staying at another place, I was allowed to chill on the long chair on the beach at any time. They offered me coffee and sometime donuts even the days that I was not diving. The center is accepting WISE transfer. Diving at Dauin is awesome because you have muck diving front the shore and classic ones at Apo island. The place is really easy to reach from Dumaguete. It takes 20 minutes with Ceres bus for 40 pesos to go to Dauin. Don't use tricycles $$$!

THE GREEDIEST MANAGEMENT EVER!!!
Officially THE GREEDIEST MANAGEMENT ever and anywhere!!!
We booked the most expensive room they had for 7 nights. Directly, not via booking.com where the resort has to pay 15-20 per cent to the website and where the same room was cheaper. We did 14 dives each of us (two people). I came at the beginning and asked the girl at the reception about the discount if we do more than 10 dives each of us. By the way this is an absolute standard everywhere we dove before (about 20 dive resorts). It is normal to give discounts for packages Dive-and-Stay. You even usually don't need to remind of it. If the equipment is included and you have your own, you get minus 10 per cent. If you go for 10 and more dives you get minus 10 per cent. Sometimes they give you an extra discount if you are a dive master or an instructor. Here I only asked 10 percent for 10 dives and more.
The reception sent me to the head of the dive shop. He sent me back to the reception. Then the girl there said that the manager is not here. I came after one day. She called a girl who were supposed to be the manager. She told me: if you have your own equipment you get 10 per cent (it is written everywhere on their website and at the reception). And we cannot give you more because we will operate at a loss (funny joke). But if you had no equipment we would give you 10 per cent for 10 dives and more. I said: OK. Then I won’t get a discount but my wife will, because she has no equipment.
And then I saw on that girl’s greedy face that she suddenly realized she put herself in a trap. She thought we both have the equipment. I did not even tell her that I was going to use their equipment and get 10 percent for 10 dives. In that way I could spare my gear from the wear out for the same price.
The girl started mumbling, wanted to find the way out, but there wasn’t any. After a couple of minutes torturing herself she said she would talk to a manager. And disappeared for a long time. I thought she hanged herself meanwhile. But no. A couple of days later that girl sent the receptionist to tell me that they will give as many as 5 per cent discount for my wife. Which was around 20 US dollars. All together we left there ca. 1200 dollars. So now you can imagine their degree of greed.
By the way I never leave the money from such discounts for myself. I always give it to guides or buy something for them because I know how much they work and how little they get paid.
So HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
The guys who we went diving with were perfect. Especially Adrian. And Wakang, and Ric and DMTs Miguel and Mickie. The girls at the reception are nice too but the greed for money of the owner (or the manager) is an awful fact.
By the way there is that idiotic policy if you stay with them you dive only with them.

Seriously you booked direct, we have no control over Booking. Com , somtimes they run a deal however we still get exactly what we charged you.

We are already the most affordable Dive Resort on the Beach in Dauin. If we discount any more there wouldn't be a sustainable margin to operate.
Just wondering, if you were a Chef woukd you expect a Discount when you go to a Restaurant just because your Chef.
Dive Master or instructor, does not give you "automatic " additional discount. If other Dive shops do then I suggest you book with them in future. I am the owner and I recent you calling me greedy and also recent you calling our staff greedy. Just who do you think you are "to me you sound self.entiand self absorbed.

Don’t go there!!!
By far the worst management I have ever seen in my entire life. I truly cannot recommend this place at all! If you have the opportunity run and rather go to other places next door. They are not only cheaper but also way better and the diving is just the same.

Worst manager encountered
We stayed for a night (Oct 3-4) from Bohol en route Cebu with my friend. Upon checkout, I needed to finish work. Apparently, the manager who is quite unapproachable asked me to leave because I already checked out or, as an option, asked to pay for entrance and all even though I am a recent guest who just checked out. I've travelled for 13 years now and it's a first to hear such policy. I love the place because it's near the beach but I would think twice going back or refer to friends given how things are handled. The rest of the staff are great and warm though.
