Planning 3rd visit there

8N7D diving trip in Mike's again, just started there two weeks before Easter, Duain still a amazing diving location, a lot of leaf sheep/Shaun the sheep was found of cause a lot of photos taken frog fish a rare, last time been there after Easter a lot of frog fishes leaf sheep was rare, seasonal items. Next time maybe Octopus season in October.
Dived with Ace for whole trip, wonderful dive guide whit high standards service very happy dive whit him.
Boat crew also delivered high standards work.
Cooking team is a unforgettable staff, it is second best thing in Mike's (the best is diving) enjoy every meal during my stay. I got 7% more body weight after this trip, thanks everyone of the cooking team.
After renewal the resort it is be upgraded, improved the air-conditioning system in our room, maybe upgraded each not sure,.
Finally thanks all staff in Mike's. See you next time.

Thumbs down experience

We reserved 1 cottage. We ordered food at around 10:45. The table that we sat on has no mats, plates, saloon /fork /water etc. not prepared. We kept on. Calling employees for to have it all set. Chairs wasn’t prepared ,too. Our food arrived one by one. In the span of almost 2 hours. Your employees reasoning why our food a was delayed because there are people ahead of as ? Mind you all , the cottage was reserved!
The kitchen should anticipated the scenario. Suffice to say . I am not going back nor recommend it.

For a mid price Dive resort, this place exceed out expectations!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mike's Dauin Beach Resort for 6 nights. We had room #1 facing the pool and beach. The dive shop had excellent equipment, top-notch dive masters, and excellent service. The restaurant team was above and beyond, with a good menu with a lot of variety. We also explored some other local restaurants close by, within walking distance. The room was cleaned daily, and the experience exceeded our expectations.

great resort

2nd time here and still as good.the place is well maintained lovely rooms and amazing staff.everything runs like a well oiled machine,from being picked up at the airport to the dive operation.we rented equipment which was well maintained and our dive guide Raoel was excellent , finding critters we would never of found.safety on dive boats is paramount.the restauraunt serves freshly prepared food that was tasty and good value.such a relaxing place.lovely pool and well kept gardens and dive boats right off the beach.if you want to dive off Dauin this is certainly the place to stay.they reply quickly to emails which is always a good sign.Mike the owner was on hand and the whole place felt like a great family.would give 11 out of 10 if I could.

DO IT! YOU’LL REGRET IT IF YOU DON’T

Mike’s was a great experience all-around. Comfortable room, great staff, loved their Filipino food, and top-notch diving. A majority of my dives were led by Gabby, the rest Michael. Gabby is an absolute professional. The best I’ve been around. Michael is great, knows the area well, and someone I could hang with if I lived there. I will always visit Mike’s when I’m in the Philippines. I understand now, why I couldn't get a room last year.
