For that low price I found it amazing: comfortable, clean, quiet.
The staff were so friendly.
I had an early check-in at 10:30 AM free if charge.
The location: close to everything I needed, restaurants, ATM, shops, bike rental just in front.

Honest Review

Be aware that they charge 200php upon arrival.
Have some charges that they will try and charge. We slept on the floor to avoid making sheets dirty, due to mosquito bites or sweat.
Room has either Aircon or a fan. A fan is fine, windows do open, but there are no mosquito nets so you will get bitten.
No WiFi in any rooms or we couldn't access as no details were posted anywhere.
Shared toilets and showers. These were very clean, and with a towel, shampoo and toilet roll provided. That is a plus, unless they are classing a wet towel as a light stain. I would recommend getting your own to avoid any doubt.
The street view rooms okay, but very noisy. Plenty of shops, food outlets and street vendors. Buyer beware. Make sure you are not over charged.
Has a large staircase to go up and down, so if disabled then this place is a definite no no. However they did help me up the stairs with my large heavy suitcase.
Security is 24/7 but don't check who you are. I would recommend showing your key. Not sure how secure rooms are.
Shower Rooms don't lock, and if they do lock, locks sometimes jam and lock you in.
The venue's official site says they have a bar and breakfast facility, no information on these. They also claim, towel change, internet, common area, daily cleaning. These don't appear to be truthful statements.

Overall it was good experience staying at the Daylight Inn Davao. The room was clean but some corner area has some dust. The shampoo doesn't smell good it was awful luckily I brought my own. When I check in the guard didn't help me at all seeing that I was with heavy luggage.
