Not coming back even if it was free
Terrible Stay Although there are a few redeeming factors, I would never go back here. I'm sharing my experience as someone who teaches hospitality education and as a hotelier for 10 years.
Facilities: 1/5
- I wanna highlight this first, because this is the dealbreaker for me. No matter what facilities they have - it's not worth it. Their elevators are limited, so at peak hours (around 10am-2pm and 5pm-8pm), you'll be waiting for OVER 20 MINUTES just to get in the elevator. So imagine wanting to go to 7-Eleven at 7pm. It will take you almost an hour for that trip. This is the same for the gym and swimming pool. So realistically, you're not gonna use it.
Room Quality: 3/5
- Tub is nice. Paint is peeling from the walls, Smart TV is a laggy (so it's old), they don't regularly change the filters in the AC, they had to replace it minutes after our check-in because we complained the AC wasn't working. (And they even checked the room before they gave us access to it)
Swimming Pool: 1/5
- Literally the worst swimming pool I've ever seen. It's big, but there's 0 ventilation. So the temperature gets really high and humid. I felt so bad for the staff, they all looked miserable. Also, imagine this environment while waiting over 20 minutes for the elevator...
Service: 2/5
- I can tell that they have good team leaders. The staff are genuine with their greetings, and smiles. So it was a good first impression. But it's incredibly downhill from there. It looks like the rank and file aren't trained properly. Every time I ask questions about the amenities, services, etc - they have to pass the phone to a more senior person (most of the time, without even telling me!). What's very odd is that they don't seem to know about their amenities. Whenever I would ask questions, they would have to put me on hold to ask someone else.
Front Office is the brain of the hotel. What kind of front office doesn't even know their own amenities?

Basic breakfast of Tocilog/Bacsilog/Dangitsilog. Drinks are watered down. Nothing special, but nothing horrible.

Horrible. Don't book this place. Waste of time and money
worst hotel experience. cockroaches everywhere, room and in breakfast cafe. layout is so confusing - two elevators shared with the entire building just to get the lobby, it'll take 30 mins of waiting and falling in line.
Weird stains on furniture and most especially in the bed and bedsheets. Tv wasn't working, no remote for aircon stuck on fan and had to have their IT to fix it pa. Breakfast food was horrible, eggs tasted like tap water. Rice and pasta, very stiff - horrible.
There was even construction in our stay - we couldn't relax and woke up to drilling and hammering throughout the stay. We booked the most expensive room and we had the worst experience.

Disappointing stay due to cleanliness and maintenance issues
We had a very disappointing stay at VS Hotel. The swimming pool was dirty, and there were no towels provided—we were told we needed to rent towels, which was unexpected.
The bathtub was leaking, and the air-conditioning was not working properly, making the room very hot. Only one key card was provided, which was inconvenient since the room heats up quickly when power is cut.
We also tried to raise our concerns, but the staff member we spoke to (named Van/Ban, not sure of the exact spelling) was unresponsive and did not offer any solution.
Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unhelpful service made our stay uncomfortable. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

BEWARE!
DO NOT DARE BOOK THIS HOTEL! We were supposed to just have a day tour but our room had molds! The way the hotel is built is also very confusing! Don't go swimming in the hotel's pool nor their water spa because all is dirty and smells like pee! The water spa is also not safe for kids because it is very dark and the water is very very cold! Staff were scolding us for little things! Front desk is sarcastic! Worst part was, the front desk directed us to an elevator where our car was parked at basement 3 only to find out that the exit was locked! We were stranded in the dark building for 30 mins and I was with my young kids! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Uncomfortable Stay – Bed Needs Urgent Replacement
Terrible spring bed. I can feel all the springs - it seems completely worn out. They didn’t allow me to transfer to another room. Instead, they tried a workaround by adding a duvet filler, but it didn’t help. It’s literally 4:22 AM now, and I still can’t sleep. They added another layer of duvet later on, per my request, but it’s still very uncomfortable. Out of frustration, I requested again to be transferred to other rooms but they declined. I’ll be transferring to a nearby hotel and will be checking out early.
