Pure paradise!

Our stay at Duli Beach Resort was absolutely magical—this place is pure paradise! The vibe is so relaxed and chilled, it’s the perfect escape to reset and reconnect with nature. The setup is beautiful, right on a stunning, remote beach with hardly any people and zero noise, just the sound of the ocean. It feels like your own little slice of untouched heaven.
The bar is fantastic, serving delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices, and the owners are some of the friendliest, most approachable people we’ve met on our travels. It’s only about a 30-minute drive from El Nido town.
There’s so much to enjoy—hammocks to lounge in, a volleyball area, football goals, and even a surf school if you want to catch some waves. But the absolute highlight for us was the turtle hatchery—it was a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list experience to see baby turtles hatching and being released into the sea. The kids were absolutely thrilled!
The villas are clean, simple, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had the BEST time here—the unique vibe, the stunning beach, and the unforgettable experiences made it one of the most special places we’ve ever visited. We can’t recommend Duli Beach Resort enough!

Full relaxation

A very high place. For relaxation. First the horror of living without hot water, doors and air conditioning. And then you retract)))) and 5 days in this place pass by unnoticed) you sit and look at the waves. For hours...
Now, more on the upside. This is definitely the place. Beautiful, not crowded. Beautiful...
The houses are super simple but clean. No hot water and no air conditioning. Instead of windows and doors, a fine net. Feels like you're sleeping in the middle of the beach) high!
The Internet is on the clock.
There's a cafe. It has three or four dishes to choose from. Oh, it's a very good breakfast. Here's a regular but great omelet and delicious bread.
And we were lucky from 4 days in the hotel, 3 let turtles in the water)))
And the plus side is there's your own surf coach. My daughter was taking classes.
The downside is hard to tell. Basically, we knew where we were going and what the conditions were, so everything is expected.

Less is definitely more...

Ever heard the saying: less is more?
Well, the ingenuity is here, more or less...
The journey in is as challenging with off road tracks trails and countryside, as interesting as the resort itself.
Van Aircon taxi from El Nido airport, php2000 (one way). Around 30-50 mins depending on time of day.
If you prefer tricycle, php1000 (one way).
As of, July 2024.
All ably assisted by Elma in pre arranged emails.
Sited at end of Duli beach, around 200m walk, set in half forest mangroves and beach surrounds - almost dreamlike - are a few bungalows, each equipped with simple living standards of, fan, big comfy bed and pillows, bathroom including shower...
This also included complimentary chickens swinging by to say hello, of course a few dogs roaming freel, and butterflies landing around us meeting our acquaintance..
Solar lighting is utilised.
WiFi and electric is not in abundance so selective hours on days to conserve, part of the eco way - it adds to a real 'get away from it all' feel.
In the morning, beautiful sunrises, if you're lucky.
At night, the stars come out to play, if you're lucky.
You fall asleep to the natural sounds of the sea and forest, also the breeze- no soundproofing here - but every bungalow is detached so your neighbour is away from you.
Check in, simple quick formality.
Elma and Max, the proprietors and their 2 big bosses, were so helpful and engaging during our stay. Never overbearing, they appeared like tourists themselves! But always on hand to help with advice and logistics.
Just to say, if luxury state of art fashion and all the mod cons is your thing, this would possibly be a place to make you think twice before booking....but if rest, seclusion and tranquility, set in natural surroundings with an eco ethic about them is your sort of thing, close to beach and sea - you won't go far wrong with a simple, yet charming stay.
Bring your bug repellent, this is natural at it's most biting!
A surfers paradise. Waves in abundance.
A few other beach games available with a net set up for beach volleyball, and hammocks between the trees. Some Jenga, card games and puzzles with a small library of books in reception/restaurant.
Food is traditional choice of breakfast.
There are lunch options (we didn't take them).
Dinner is a small choice of local Filipino dishes, we had squid with rice, and pork with pasta and shared (all delicious).
Try the freshly made fruit shakes! Yum! Canned fruit drinks available, as is fresh coconut with a straw!
Beers 330ml and 1litre water are coming out at php100.
Wine, and spirits also on offer.
Check out simple, and breakfast offered as we had an early morning leave the next day. Nice touch. We had help transporting suitcase to our transport from night security porter guy.
If there's ever a documentary or docu drama that needs to be made, this is it!
What a fantastic unique offering of a basic 'let nature do the talking' experience of Filipino life where the fun is in the detail....thank you so much for hosting us, we appreciated every minute of it!
Affordable and unique experience here, we can't speak highly enough of this place that offers something different of less, not more in amenities. But more sights sounds and feelings than the average more ⭐ rated establishments, especially with their seasonal turtle conservation plan.
That would indeed be an interesting tale to tell..

Sleep to the sound of waves

Just six stand alone rooms and a restaurant right on the beach at the southern end perched under a steep jungle forested hill. A great spot with fantastic views of the curving beach. Rooms are a good size, our with a large king bed. No a/c, fridge or hot water shower as it's off grid but WiFi works well. Sea breezes through your mosquito screen windows cools the room.
Breakfast choice is available for 350 pesos, tea or coffee with omelette and toast, french toast and fruit, bacon and egg toasted sandwich etc. Similarly most evening meals are 350 per person, the menu each night isn’t extensive but varied enough and always well prepared and tasty. With beers 100 bottle and a pleasant surprise even a cold bottle of Chilean Savignon for 750, a very welcome change at a great peaceful place with excellent hosts. The sanctuary and the releases of the tiny turtles on the beach were a lovely and valuable feature of the hotel.

Seaside bliss at Duli Beach Resort

Duli Beach Resort offers breathtaking views, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff. Max and Elma, the friendly owners, are so hospitable and has a wealth of knowledge to share on the Philippines. The on-site restaurant serves the best food, and there are plenty of activities, including surf lessons, stand-up paddling, kayaking, etc. Plus, their sea turtle rescue program is commendable!"
