Great Stay in El Nido

we are group of five people and we enjoyed our stay in Katrina. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. they even let us hang out wet clothes outside and they kept it when the rain starts to pour. they also know where are the good restaurants are. they also provide breakfast for the whole duration of stay.
the room we stayed is good. aircon is working. for me, the room is good even there is no TV. we really felt that we are away in the city while we hear sounds from geckos, frogs and crickets. we stayed there for 3 days before we flew in Puerto Princesa.
they are very accommodating and each requests we made, they grant it. i am not sure if it is owned or it is partnered with Katrina Halili :)
would highly recommend this and will definitely book again should i go back again in El Nido.

Friendly Owner

After searching for many of the option in ElNido, I with my husband got this hotel. The room and facilities are average. One may not be satisfied with the facilities provided in the hotel but the owner of the hotel is so friendly. You can fully trust her, leave your belongings and ask for the recommendation to visit the nearby places. You might find the problem with water supply but at ElNido its every where the same. It is not the problem of the hotel but the problem of the whole ElNido

tiny rooms with dirty towels

PROS:
- helpful staff
- decent location
- AC and 24h power
CONS:
- tiny rooms that feel a bit grimy and smell strange
- stained bedsheets and towels
- only 1 outlet in the bathroom
- no mirror in the bathroom
- shower barely worked and only cold water
- included breakfast is poor
The other couple travelling with us had a slightly better experience, but it's pretty hit and miss

Do yourself a faver and DON'T go there

We had a very bad time there. Worst value for money! You pay a lot and get very little - the room was old and filled with mold, toilet didn't flush, cold shower, no Wifi in the rooms, they shut down their generator for two hours during noon. In addition, the own was nice but the attitude we received from the other employees was rude and unacommdeting. Five minutes before check-out they knocked on our door and told us we passed our check out time...Unbelivable......

- Good Location
- Friendly Host

- Small rooms
- No WiFi in rooms ( Please note that the WiFi does not reach any of the rooms. You have to sit downstairs to use it - not ideal especially at night when the mosquitos are out)
- Bed is uncomfortable
- No shower (can only fill the bucket with water to wash)
- Overpriced - we did come at a busy time however the price for two nights (5,000 peso) isn’t justifiable for the standard of the rooms.
