Do not stay in this hostel!

Do not stay in this hostel!! When we checked in the room was very dark, had no windows and smelt of damp mould. We were only staying for two nights so didn’t mention anything to the staff. However when we went back to the room that evening the mould was so strong that you could not breathe in the room and our belongings that had been left in the room were all damp. One of the staff was helpful and tried to call the manager but the other tried to say that the smell and mould was from our luggage! Also the locks on the doors didn’t work and there was rats running about where the rooms are. We ended up leaving late at night on the first night because of the mould and dampness. While we were leaving another guest came to complain that there was no running water in the hostel. Would not recommend here the mould is a health hazard. Refused to give refund as manager wasn’t available.
