Good rooms, great staff, poor location & diabolical hotel meals

A tired facility needing a facelift. Rooms are actually pretty good as are the staff, but the hotel food and location to the whale interaction area are a big negative. Unfortunately foods options near outside the hotel are very limited & depend on your level of bravado.

Stays there for the view and pool

The location by the sea and the pool of this hotel are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The name Golf resort is confusing because there is no 18-hole golf nearby. On the other hand, a mini golf with artificial grass allows you to practice putting. The manufacturer does not really master the making of greens. The mats are poorly joined and the surfaces are dented and uncorrugated. By the sea it is possible to hit balls that end up in the water. A flat rate of PHP 250 entitles you to the use of clubs that are on site and 5 balls. Each additional ball costs PHP 30.
It is also possible to go snorkelling.
If the bar that also serves food is very nice, the restaurant on the first floor is sad for my taste.
I had a pancake breakfast (PHP 299) with hard pancakes. Pastry lovers will be disappointed, because there is none.
My dinner (shrimp and rice) was quite correct.

Perfect!

The resort is topnotch! Very nice people that run the place! Clean rooms and pool and the serice is also very good! 5 minute drive with the tricycles to the mall/towns. The workers will also help you with the toursaround cebu! Fixing the guides and everything. 10/10
