Convenient location if you're taking the ferry.
We stayed at Wregent for one night before catching the ferry, and the location was perfect—super close to the port. The place is definitely old and could use some updates, but it works fine for a short stay.
The room was surprisingly spacious, which was nice, but the beds were a bit too firm for our taste. Nothing fancy, but if you're just passing through, it does the job.

Pros:
-The staff (front office, cleaners, kitchen staff, security guard) were friendly.
-There's some food in the restaurant should you go hungry.
-The chicken tapa was good.
-It's the closest hotel to Starbucks. (just a few feet away)
-You just go out the door and you can easily find a ride to wherever you'd like to go.
Cons: -
The rooms/hallways smell very musty/moldy. Def an issue if you have allergies/asthma.
The windows can't be opened. But I guess it would not matter because even if if there was a way to open it, you'll just smell the exhaust from the cars etc.
-A number of mosquitoes on the lobby/dining area.

The front desk is very accomodating. She let me in even I am an hour early for my check in time. The hotel is a bit outdated bit I don't care as long as I can sleep well. Over all no complaints. I am happy for what i paid for.
