This was an amazing hotel with amazing staff!
It was an easy check in and staff's customer service sets the bar high! They're very attentive when you need something. For example, whenever I'd ask for water refill, they will have a staff bring it in as soon as I get to my room. Security deposit is 3000 php which isn't too bad, but just to keep in mind when you want to spend there :P The breakfast is around 500 php per day, but luckily we wanted to try the street/authentic foods outside! The joy of being in a different country is trying their own dishes!
The room itself was spotless and cozy, everything is working. Especially the AC, after a day under the sun, AC and the shower is your best friend! The only downside I'd say was there were baby moths in the room upon check in, but I was able to get rid of them after the third day, when they were within my reach LOL! I know bugs are not in anyone's control, but I'm just assuming they must've snuck in when the window was open at one point before my check in.
The gym has AC and it's understandable that it's quite tiny (two treadmill, two benches and enough dumbells) since not a lot of people work out then. At least when I went, there was only one other person.
The pool is outdoors which is so nice because you get to see the view! The water is warm but refreshingly warm.
I would recommend, 10/10 for sure and will be booking it next time!

A New Hotel with Room for Improvement

Pros:
To begin with, the value for money is excellent. I understand the hotel has just opened and is currently offering introductory rates. Everything is brand new, with solid construction and good-quality finishes. The mattresses, sheets, and pillows are comfortable and of good quality. The staff is young, enthusiastic, and very efficient, and they genuinely seem committed to making the project a success. All public areas and guestrooms are spotless, and housekeeping is doing an excellent job. The rooms are also generously sized, with large windows and balconies that make them feel bright and spacious.
Cons:
I stayed in Room 908, and the bathroom needs attention. The shower itself is rather small, and the shower curtain is about a hand's width too short. To make matters worse, the shower curtain rail extends approximately 10 cm beyond the shower area, causing part of the curtain to hang outside the shower tray. As a result, water runs down the curtain and onto the bathroom floor every time you shower, leaving a large puddle.
The shower head was about 50% clogged with limescale, and the shower drain had clearly not been cleaned for some time. I actually had to lift the metal drain cover and remove a large clump of hair myself, which was quite unpleasant. The hot water temperature was also too low, requiring me to adjust the water heater manually.
The Wi-Fi was another major disappointment. I tested it from different locations in the hotel and at different times of the day, and the speed never exceeded about 2 Mbps for either download or upload. It was simply too slow to work, and I ended up using my phone as a hotspot.
Finally, noise insulation is a real issue. Despite being on the ninth floor, I could clearly hear roosters crowing, dogs barking, passing jeepneys, and other outside noise. The corridor doors also provide very little sound insulation, so conversations in the hallway sound as though they're taking place inside the room.
Would I return?
Yes. At the current introductory rates, I can certainly accept the shortcomings because the positives clearly outweigh the negatives. I believe that once these issues are addressed, this hotel has the potential to become an excellent place to stay.

Dear Mr. Jorge,
Greetings from The Tribute Hotel!
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thorough and balanced review of your experience with us. We truly appreciate your recognition of the value we offer, the quality and comfort of our rooms, and the efforts of our young and enthusiastic team. It is especially encouraging to hear that you found our guestrooms and public areas spotless, our housekeeping service commendable, and our spacious rooms with large windows and balconies enjoyable.
At the same time, we sincerely appreciate the detailed observations you provided regarding Room 908. Your comments about the shower curtain, shower head, drain, and hot water temperature have been noted and will be coordinated with our Housekeeping and Engineering teams for proper inspection and necessary improvements. We understand how inconvenient it must have been to experience water pooling on the bathroom floor and to have to address the clogged drain yourself.
We also value your detailed feedback regarding the Wi-Fi performance and noise insulation. These are important aspects of the guest experience, and your observations regarding the internet speed and the outside and corridor noise will be shared with the respective teams and management for review.
As a newly opened property, feedback such as yours is incredibly valuable to us. We are grateful not only for pointing out the areas that need attention but also for recognizing the potential of The Tribute Hotel. Your willingness to return despite these shortcomings is particularly meaningful to our team and encourages us to continue improving.
Thank you once again for your honest and constructive review. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future and showing you the improvements we have made based on feedback from guests like you.
Warm regards,
Ericka Calanday

Dear Mr. Roger,
Greetings from The Tribute Hotel!
Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the incidental deposit. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the delay in seeing the amount reflected back on your credit card.
We would like to clarify that the PHP 2,000 incidental deposit placed through your credit card was only a pre-authorization/temporary hold on your available credit limit and was not an actual charge or completed transaction. The amount was not collected by the hotel as a payment. Upon check-out, once the hold is released from our end, the actual time for the amount to become available again depends on the processing time of your card-issuing bank.
We completely understand your concern, especially when the amount remains reflected as a hold on your credit card. However, please be assured that this does not constitute a fraudulent transaction or misuse of funds by the hotel.
We sincerely regret any misunderstanding regarding the process and appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope this clarification helps address your concern.
Warm regards,
Ericka Calanday

Cost cutting measures likely implemented by hotel terribly impacted our experience

2-day hotel with breakfast for 2 with 2 double beds fit for total of 4 adults stay was booked through miles from Cathay. Management requested additional fee even no additional bed and breakfast was requested. Hot water was inconsistent, literally asked front desk enforced thrice across 2 days to fix it. Internet was slow and spotty. . Staff were kind, but experience is marred by the inefficiency.
