The staff is wonderful, welcoming and helpful when we needed a boat and car arranged. The location can’t be beat and the rooms are smack on the beach, each with their own hammock.

The heart and soul of this place is the wonderful family who owns and lives on the property. Owen, Angie, and their two kids are incredibly welcoming, and their presence makes a world of difference—you don’t just feel like a guest; you truly feel like a part of their home.
Why We Loved Our Stay:
Exceptional Staff: The team here is incredible. They are hardworking, professional, and genuinely sweet. Their service-minded attitude ensures that every guest is taken care of with a big smile.
Peace and Quiet: The resort is a haven of tranquility. It is remarkably quiet and peaceful, making it the ideal spot to truly disconnect and recharge.
Wonderful Dining: The food in the restaurant is consistently excellent! Every meal is "rigtig fin"—prepared with care and full of flavor.

It is true that getting to Tablas can be a bit of a journey, but that is actually a secret blessing. Because it takes a little extra effort to reach this paradise, it naturally filters the crowd. I liked the location, the condition of the rooms and accessibility. Much better if you have your own vehicle.
Food? OUTSTANDING for breakfast and dinner. We did not eat there for lunch.
We liked it there so much that we ended up staying for 5 nights. The proprietors, Mr. Owen and Mrs. Angie was always available for any questions we had. Thank you and we will be back...

We spent three absolutely perfect nights at Footprints, right on the beach in the Philippines. The accommodation was very pleasant, comfortable and air-conditioned, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything was available on site, making the stay very convenient. The food was excellent and varied, and we enjoyed every meal. We were also able to hire scooters directly on site, which made it easy to explore the island.
The staff were lovely, always smiling and attentive, as was the manager, who gave us a warm welcome.
If we ever come back to this island, we'll gladly return to Footprints!
