Not to be missed if you come to the island of Siagao!!

Wow, what an amazing find in the north of Siagao. Rented a car for the day US$50 definitely worth it and safer than a scooter. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. They also have a hotel but keep in mind. You’re very removed from everything here versus General Luna. If you’re looking to surf and peace and tranquility, this is a gorgeous spot. Thank you for not gouging on Pricing. 1600 pesos for lobster pie well worth the price and the food was excellent thank you for the experience.

Don’t go to this place!!!

Very disappointing experience. Unlike other hotels around Pacifico that welcome outside visitors to enjoy the restaurant and pool while ordering food, this place tried to charge us extra for everything—including ₱650 just to use the pool or even the pool shower.
We were also told we couldn’t sit on the outdoor chairs if we were slightly wet, even though they’re poolside chairs designed for exactly that. The waitress was rude and unwelcoming, and unfortunately, the food was terrible. We still spent around ₱1,500, but left feeling like they cared only about collecting extra money—not giving visitors a good experience.
I definitely don’t recommend this place. There are plenty of other hotels around Pacifico where visitors are treated with respect and actually encouraged to relax and enjoy themselves.

GOOD VIEW BUT SERVICES NOT WORTH IT

​⚠️ TOURIST WARNING: Hidden Charges & Lack of Price Transparency
​The ambience at Trogon's Perch is admittedly nice, but the overall experience is absolutely not worth the price.
​They enforce a strict Php 500 consumable minimum per person, but they conveniently fail to mention that this does not include their hefty service charge and 12% VAT. In the Philippines, consumer law mandates that the 12% VAT should already be integrated into the menu prices—not tacked on as a surprise at the end. Their menu pricing is completely misleading and lacks transparency.
​On top of that, the service fee is absurd for what you actually get. They offer "amenities" like Wi-Fi, but it was so slow that my cellular data was significantly faster. While the food itself was okay, the deceptive billing practices completely ruined the meal.
​If you are a tourist, skip the headache and find a place that respects consumer rights and values transparency.

Holiday version of slow living

If you want to go somewhere that is peaceful to surf with a minimalist style then this is it. Very comfortable, the views are amazing, really friendly staff and all round an amazing experience. We will stay here again in the future. It is the holiday version of slow living.

Amazing place. A little gem. Everyone was so friendly, the chef made awesome food and the cafe very cozy. The view is stunning. Loved waking up to the sunrise and the waves of the ocean. Peaceful and quiet. Perfect spot for staying in the northern part of siargao .
