Good place to rest at Polish seaside.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Advantages: super localization, great masseuse, sauna, place to sit outside, very gentle staff. Unfortunately there are no animations at all, only breakfast included in price, no free drinks, no attractions in the evening.

A fine hotel, but you must book a room with a view of the bay

The hotel building is very conveniently designed and in a good style. The rooms, however, might do with some facelifting, lighter colours would suit the place much better. Cooking is excellent, services too. There is especially good breakfast, with a large variety of foods incl. vegetables, fish, cakes etc. The espresso from the machine is excellent. You will enjoy swimming in the very-well designed indoor swimming pool. From the rooms overlooking the garden and the bay you will see hundreds of surfers and kite-surfers: the bay is suitable and very much used for these sports, however, not suitable for swimming. If you want to swim in the sea, you have to walk crossing the road, the railway and a forest to get to a wonderful wide beach (max.10 min walk). The hotel is child-friendly, lots of children run around in summer time, but at our time they were not too noisy. Some rooms may suffer a bit of smoke coming from the outdoor sitting area. The reailway station very near makes it possible to explore the Hel Peninsula by train as parking is difficult everywhere (in summer, I presume).

Best in Chalupy

The best hotel in Chalupy! Nice modern and clean hotel with a lot of facilities which you can enjoy (swimming pool, billard, bikes available). Backyard with nice chilling place where you can eat breatfast outside or chill during the day with sight on the bay. Chalupy is a best place for active people who want to learn kite or surfing and if there is no wind you go to the sea side and have the beautiful wide beach with white sand. You will love the hotel and the city

Very nice rooms with wonderful view (not all), but else - need improvment !

Hotel is located in a very nice area between Gdańsk Bay and main street, so rooms with 'Sea' view are very quiet and gives you breath taking sunsets (especially on first floor):-)
Rooms are spacy and very nice. This is the best part of the hotel.
Anyway hotel shouldn't be called a SPA Hotel, but rather a hotel with a indoor pool (very small), sauna (one finish sauna and one steam sauna and where you can get a massage (one of the worst I've been to - massage itself wasn't bad, but whole atmosphere and details were far below how it should be in a 4 start SPA hotel).
Ohter aspects also should be improved - breakfast was one of the worst in a 4 * hotel I've ever had ! Very small set of things to choose from.
Also cleanning personel was not refilling toilet paper and soap

Good hotel, but 4* should be better...

Good hotel, nice rooms, receptionist always speaks english, good breakfest and very nice food in the restaurant. I recommend to insist on the room with sea view, other rooms are towards main street. We choose superior room, which was bigger. Main negative thing was the cleaning which was max on the level of 3* hotel... old towels (sometimes dirty), not cleaned carpet, dirty glasses left in our room for the whole stay... We were lucky the hotel was half empty. But in main season I guess the nights can be very noisy as we could hear everything from neighbouring rooms...
