A great place to stay

This is a lovely place to stay. It is just off the market square. Paid parking outside.
Our room was on the second floor. The stairs are steep. An employee carried our bags for us. The room was spacious with a desk, chairs and a small TV.
Don’t expect to sleep in. Church bells start at 6.30 am.
Breakfast was very good. .

Conveniently located in old town of Elbląg, basically next door to the Żegluga Ostródzka, which offers trips on Kanał Elbląski (Elbląg Canal) - top attraction in this part of Poland, also just round the corner form the cathedral and large market square-like place in front of it. Hotel comprisses of two narrow town houses, with restaurant open to the public at the bottom (outdoor seats take most of small terrace) - that's also the place we had our very tasty breakfasts. Our room was on top floor, called family room, with good wifi. Steep stairs leading to it, no lift. Car parking spaces on a one way street just in front of the hotel, free during weekens. Great place to stay when visiting Elbląg.

Probably a four and a half

Stayed for one night last night, in the family room on the top floor. The most efficient check-in process ever. We were just given the key and asked what time we might want breakfast. The lovely young lady offered to help us with our bags, but we didn’t need it. I then popped down to the bar to have a cheeky beer and she was lovely there too.
Breakfast was really good. And I loved meeting who I presumed was the owner on check-out, which was again fuss free. I parked directly at the front of the hotel for free (overnight) and the location is unbeatable for restaurants/ bars/ cathedral and the river.
My wife thought the beds could be better, and noted a bit of black mould in the bathroom, but you aren’t paying for The Goring, are you?
My wife is more perceptive than me about inter-personal interactions. She reckons that there must be a policy of the hotel to help more disadvantaged members of the local community, in two ways that she thinks she noticed. If she is right, and had she have told me what she’d noticed before driving away, I’d happily have paid double.

Very nice!!

Friendly staff, very tasty breakfest. Not new but very home like.
I liked hotel but I dont like this tripadvisors minimum 200 letter rule. Some things don't take so many words so fix this issue from your app.

Great service

Stayed at this pensionat for 3 days every month on the last 6 months. The staff was always helpful, even prepared breakfast for us when we had to leave at 3am to go to airport.
Certainly will stay here again on my next contract.
