Perfect family holiday!

What a wonderful place! Super comfortable room, fantastic mountain views, fab breakfasts (with something different to try every day) and really friendly helpful staff who helped us plan our days out.
Easy connections for buses into town and several good restaurants within walking distance.
All in all, a fantastic stay and we’d love to return!
Thanks Villa Miodula!

Like in a fairy tale!

Beautiful little villa, incredibly cosy atmosphere, you feel like you're in a fairy tale! The design is traditional goral with some modern elements, making a perfect blend. Staff couldn't have been any kinder!!! Breakfast was varied and plentyful. Although wooden chalets are generally noisy, all other guests were very attentive and did their best to be quiet to allow others to relax and unwind.
We stayed in room 23 which had some of the best views. However if you can, choose the honeymoon suite as it is truly jaw-dropping. We are recent visitors in zakopane, but Villa Miodula has become one of our favorite already! Thank you for the amazing weekend!!!

From 5 star to 1 star

This hotel has FALLEN from one of our favourite stays anywhere in the world to a 1 star bed and breakfast poor option in only the past three years.
FALSE ADVERTISING
The hotel restaurant is CLOSED and has been for a while! However the website still shows an open restaurant with links to the current menu. False advertising is ILLEGAL in so many countries, but am not sure about Poland. Not once during booking or since were we contacted by the hotel to tell us that the restaurant had closed. So UNPROFESSIONAL from any establishment, but now understand why, due to the fall in standards, from this once incredible place.
FALSE ADVERTISING AGAIN.
Our apartment is advertised as a 2 double bedroom apartment. THIS IS FALSE! Upon arrival we find single double bedroom with a landing walk through area with 2 single beds on the landing. THIS IS NOT A BEDROOM!! FALSE ADVERTISING ONCE AGAIN!
Beds - The mattresses are cheap thin spring mattresses that are incredibly uncomfortable, feeling every spring within the mattress.
Bathroom - Luke warm shower with very little pressure. What once were incredible facilities are no more!
Such a shame that a world class 5 star hotel has become little more than a country B&B.
GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER VILLA MIODULA!

ladies and gentlemen
we have read the comments carefully. We think they are very harmful. There is no restaurant on the Facility's website, therefore there can be no misleading customers but only that we are in well-known tourist guides. In addition, Villa Miodula organizes meetings and events, including full catering services. Please read the opinions of our customers on Google, who improve the high quality of service, high quality of our breakfasts. In the afternoon, you can relax in the Wine bar by the fireplace with a few selected dishes. We also do not understand the note about the number of rooms, the apartment is two rooms, each of which is a bedroom, not three rooms plus two bedrooms, it is clearly described. Our mattresses are mattresses of the well-known Hilding company praised by customers. We are sorry that we were not able to satisfy your taste. Thank you for your comments and best regards.

Authentic sights and sounds of Poland's rural playground

When a bed and breakfast chalet is described as "charming" be wary. The word can often denote a sugar-coated fantasy in the spurious tradition of The Sound of Music. Not in the case of Villa Miodula (the word aptly translates as a type of honey). Charm here carries no such negative connotations. It is fixed in the aromatic pine walls of its bedrooms, bolstered by the monumental sliced tree trunks (apparently well-aged spruce) wrapped around its vernacular Alpine chalet exterior, and repeated in the morning smiles of the all-female staff as well as the vintage dining-room photographs of earlier generations of Zakopane skiers.
Zakopane is Poland's prime ski-ing and hiking playground. A boom in building (Miodula was built eight years ago) since we last visited 20 years ago has seen house prices accelerate. Even so the continuing expansion seems to have left the essential village ambience of the whole area intact. To the casual visitor cockerels still strut and lambs gaze and occasionally bleat in villages that are for much of each day a study in stunning stillness and tranquillity amid spectacular alpine scenery.
Breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Waitresses exuded fair-haired charm. Miodula's construction bespoke utter solidity and high-quality construction. Not all the much-vaunted Polish plumbers have fled for the lure of a British pay packet.

Great views, rooms, and service

Worth it. Off the beaten path but a great place to relax, take a walk etcetera.
We stayed for two days. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and then would go exploring each day.
The rooms were cozy but nicely decorated. This is not just a room with a view.
We plan to return this Spring.
We highly recommend this place
