Pleasant good stay

A first I read the reviews and thought oh dear but I was really surprised
We stayed in room 111 and our flight was delayed so we messaged the hotel before we left the UK to tell them this so we would have our check in codes for the room and hotel as they give you 2 codes one for the 2 main doors and then a separate one for you hotel room so having a mobile phone is a must
The room was lovely although they could get some new pillows as mine was more or less flat but I still slept, the hotel is clean and the room we had was warm you even get YouTube/Netflix on the TV
The bathroom was well present had a double shower and the location is really good about a 5/10mins walk to the main market square
Only downside was that the thermostat control on the radiator was broken so it was constantly on 5 so the room was never cold it was always boiling which did interrupt some sleep
But all in all good stay nice and quiet on a night too!!

Accommodation for shorter time

Extremely bad with wall sockets and lights by the bed.
No hooks to hang clothes or towels on.
Poor storage for clothes.
No toilet paper in room 004 when we arrived.
Lousy toilet paper refill. You had to go on about it. We got tired of it and bought instead.
Poor towels in the bathroom.
The bed in room 004 smelled bad.
At first glance the cleaning looked good but not if you looked more closely.
I never use the duvet so I pull it out of the duvet cover. Big brown spot on the duvet
Poor ventilation.
Pigeon who had a nest by the elevator?!
The hot water went out the last night. Poor when you wanted to shower for the early departure the next day. Even bad style not to respond to the message about the hot water.
Room 213 was big.
The AC was efficient.
The beds were comfortable.

Clean room and good location. Some issues with after hours checking (not only for us as there was another group that arrived around 22h00 and they haven't had the codes)

Wasn’t as bad as I was expecting…

I stayed at Aparthotel Cracovia Residence in Kraków with two friends for three nights, each of us in separate rooms. Honestly, I was a bit worried before arriving because some of the reviews I’d read weren’t great, but we actually had a really decent stay.
Room 002 was the highlight – it’s massive, more like a suite than a standard hotel room. The entry is all code-based (courtyard, main door, and then each room), which felt really secure once we got used to it.
Check-in was a little slow (we waited around 30 minutes for the WhatsApp message with the codes), but once we were in, everything was easy.
The rooms were clean enough, although two of the ground-floor ones had a slight sewage smell from the bathroom, which wasn’t ideal but manageable. Room 214 had a broken shower, and the TV in room 003 didn’t work, but since we were out exploring most of the time, it didn’t affect us too much.
Breakfast was included, and we got vouchers for the nearby restaurant VELO. I went there twice and really enjoyed it – such a nice bonus.
The location is excellent – only a 5-minute walk to the Old Town, so it’s really easy to get around on foot.
Overall, despite a few small issues, I’d say this place is good value for money and a great base for exploring Kraków.

Worst place to stay

I stayed here on January 11-12, 2026, and it was a terrible experience. The heating in room 106 was not working at all, despite the outside temperature being -5°C. I was traveling with my 4-year-old son, and the room was freezing. When I contacted the reception, they admitted there was a technical fault with the air conditioning/heating system.
Shockingly, they couldn't provide a portable heater because "all of them were already given to other guests," which proves this was a widespread issue.
The only solution offered was extra blankets. My son had to sleep in socks and under two duvets just to stay warm. The hotel refused a refund despite failing to provide basic living conditions. I do not recommend this place, especially for families
