a VERY good place to stay

Spent four days there with a pack of teenage students. Impeccably clean rooms, fresh bedlinen, clean bathrooms, generous buffet breakfast (constantly filled up), nice, patient and helpful staff. VERY good location: Train/coach station 18 minutes' walk, Wawel 15 minutes, Old Town 10 minutes, Kazimierz 20 minutes, cafés, shops comfortably close, still a quiet area at night. VERY reasonable prices. Strongly recommend!

A Holiday in Hell’s Waiting Room – 1/5 stars (and it’s for the fire)

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to live in a damp dish towel combined with an aggressive reality TV show – congratulations, we’ve found the place for you!
We arrived at the hostel with expectations of a simple but fresh accommodation. Instead, we were met with an interior that can best be described as a crime scene for the demise of hygiene. The sheets had more stains than a Dalmatian party, and the towels felt like they had gone through both World War I and World War II – without getting a wash in between.
The air in the room was so hot and humid that we considered planting rice. Ventilation consisted of a window leading straight into another wall, and the smell – yes, it was like a mix of old gym bag, basement and a faint tone of disappointment.
The staff? Well, they smiled about as often as a sourdough rises. We felt like unwelcome guests on their own nightmare. When we asked for new sheets, they responded with something that might have been a moan, or a growl – we didn’t dare ask again.
And then there's the neighbor. Oh, neighbor. A local original with the temperament of a mentally unstable sprinkler. He chose to show his appreciation for our presence by throwing water from his balcony – repeatedly. Not only that, he also called the police. Yes, the police. We still don’t know why, but we’re guessing “crime against good taste” because we tried to sunbathe in the courtyard.
The police visit was the highlight – the most professional of the entire stay.
In conclusion: Stay here if you want to sweat, get damp, feel unwanted and get a free shower from a passive-aggressive neighbor. Or what? Run. Run like your vacation depends on it. Because it does.

dont have high hopes

this was my first time in a Hostel, I did not have high hopes at all. I am writing this as I am in bed at the hostel. I am hot and sweaty as there is no AC, the rooms are tight but do offer decent beds, and there is still an uncomfortable hole on the sides which is easy to fall through. The WC are not nice and not tidy at all. this place has no character and makes the place look like a prison cell.

Good position but...

Our bedroom was small and we didn’t know where fix the bags. Breakfast was good. Bedrooms and bathrooms weren’t very clean and some of the staff were very arrogant. Good position: near the center of Krakow

Nice modern, clean hostel but if you want good sleep better avoid it on weekends

Very nice modern, clean hostel with decent breakfast, 20 minutes walk from Central train station. Smart system with beds - if nobody uses them the room gets more spacious :-)
It would have been perfect hostel if there hadn't been tree large groups of Erasmus students behaving very loud in the night. I don't blame the staff since they changed my room for one a little further from dining hall where the party was going on and tried to make them quiet but it didn't work... I still had young guys running and shouting in front of my room at 3am. From what I heard it was not the first time - so I recommend you the hostel but if you want good sleep better avoid it on weekends (when Erasmus students tend to travel around).

Very good location
