Fantastic location and staff - bit noisy
Excellent value, location fantastic just minutes from the square. Rooms are a bit dated but staff there really friendly and helpful both before and during my visit. Only negative is noise, first two mornings I was woke at 6am with noise of other guests inside as the steps creak horrendously, and outside as there is a walkway that is right outside the windows of all the rooms. It was awful and ruined one of the days as I was so knackered. That said, no issues on the other two days

A very central basic accommodation option.
I was expecting it to be difficult to find but really not that difficult. A few signs and good comms from the hotel.
Pre-stay and during stay communication was excellent.
Rooms are a little basic but clean. This is not a luxury option and should be reflected in the price you pay but perfectly acceptable. Furniture is old but functional.
We had room 3 on the ground floor next to reception so we had some issues with late night noise. I suspect it's probably the worst room for that but a few alcoholic beverages helped before bedtime. If you're a light sleeper it will be a problem so ask for a room on a higher floor.
The guesthouse is very central for Old Town, tram a few minutes walk away but taxi/uber rank 20 metres away. Lots of food and drink options within a few steps. Overall felt a safe area and generally a beautiful city with great food, great service and very little anti social issues.

An excellent value room for a family of five
Globtroter has a fantastic location in a little hidden courtyard only a minute or so walk from the main square. The walk to the tram is about 5-7 minutes for easy access to the rest of the city. The main train station (Glowny) is a leisurely 15 minutes walk via Planty Park and Old Town.
Our room itself was a traditional old fashioned characterful style. The beds were comfortable and the whole room was very clean. The hotel itself was very quiet to help get a good nights sleep. With no air conditioning it was a bit hot during the heatwave but the weather was unprecedentedly hot and the staff kindly gave us two fans to try and help cool us down a bit.
Staff were always exceptionally welcoming and friendly, right from first contact/booking and then throughout our entire stay.
A hidden gem in Krakow that I’d definitely recommend for value, friendliness and location. Thank you.

Location is fantastic, minutes away from the main square. Staff really helpful both in advance of my stay and during, comms brilliant beforehand and agreed to keep reception open late due to the time of my flight arrival. The rooms are a little dated in terms of decor and furniture, hot water takes a while to start. Only issue is noise, you can hear every footstep inside the place especially on the creaky staircase but more so from outside - my first two nights were horrendous as I was woken at 5.30am by outside noise - trailers getting pulled down the cobbled street for local bars, but mainly noise of other guests shouting, talking loudly, kids screaming. The guest house is enclosed in a courtyard and all rooms have windows out onto a walkway. This was not good. Fortunately my next two nights were much better. .
