You live in an Appartment complex, not a hotel or classical resort.
Room service every 7 days, towel change only every 2 days, if you don‘t miss to announce. Doesn‘t happen automatically.
Gym and Wellnesss area is fairly equipped.
Disadvantage: the gym opens at 10 AM, no chance to enter early morning. Room for
Improvement.
Bar and restaurant at the lobby is very good with rich breakfast and solid evening Menue.

Basically fine, getting old, necessary repairs are postponed

I give one less star why at the end of the text. First of all, the positive.
We had the penthouse in house C/C501. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 dressing rooms each with a safe, very large living area with kitchen. The terrace (L-shaped) is very large. Ample space, very well furnished, i.e. if 6 people travel there is enough space for everyone in the living area including dining area. The elevator stops right in the penthouse, very comfortable. The air conditioning (heating_cooling) worked perfectly in every single room.
There are small reductions in the equipment of the kitchen. If the penthouse is for 6 people, there should also be 6 pieces for the different types of glasses of each type. Certainly some have broken in the past time then you should also fill up again.
Unfortunately, there were also shortcomings that simply cannot be tolerated in this price category. There are 10 switches/buttons in the hallway for a wide variety of lighting. Some of them have the pressure points closed. Sometimes it took several attempts before the light came on or could be dimmed. Of the two chandeliers, one was completely absent. Yellowish LED strips for lighting are attached to all windows behind the blinds. In the lower bedroom, a complete window side flashed, the same on a complete window side in the living room. The button unfortunately did not respond to light or dark dimming. I'm guessing there's a defect in the power supplies. Occurs but has not been repaired, and later. A roller blind in a bathroom EG at the bedroom could not go at all, it true upstairs. So the bathroom / toilet was not usable in the dark, with full occupancy with 6 people already a problem. The remote control for the roller blind in this bathroom was missing, why immediately.
We reported it to the reception at House C the next morning (very friendly) treatment from there. After half an hour a very nice fitter arrived.
The remote control was missing in the bathroom because the roller blind has been broken for a long time. The fitter could not say when it would be repaired. He offered to close the blind manually, which of course remains the case. We accepted this because we wanted to use this very bedroom because of the size. He could not help with the above-mentioned light defects, these defects have also been for a long time.
The description states that bathrobes are part of the equipment. That's not the case, there were none. In the reception this was also addressed, you got two vouchers and could pick up 2 pieces (we were only 2 people) in the wellness center. If you can basically do so then it must be removed from the equipment of the room on the web page. A tea coffee machine was also not available (as listed on the website).
In summary, at prices of about 400 euros per night, one must be allowed to expect that the premises are in a technically perfect condition. What is annoying is, not what did not work, that the fitter had been aware of the defects for a long time but a repair was not arranged so far and he could not remedy them.
Breakfast was impeccable, varied, plentiful and rich. From fish, sausage, roast, cheese, fruit, vegetables various hot foods there was truly nothing missing and was also replenished again and again.
All apartments including the penthouses belong to private owners. The Dune Resort takes over the so-called administration, marketing etc. There is also the problem, as we had to learn on departure. Major repairs must be approved by the owner before the resort can take action. This is why the repairs that have been necessary for a long time are dragging on.

Great apartments

We've been here before. Last time we visited in February 2025 we had a wonderful penthouse in Area C with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and bright, large living-dining kitchen.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped.
It was a bit confusing to get to the right elevator via the parking garage at first.
Breakfast is adequate, creative and varied.
The restaurant is a very good choice in the evening.
The service is nice.
The pool was unfortunately much too cold. It was also a pity that this year the ice rink was not there.

Stylish Resort

Stylish hotel with nice rooms, good service and great breakfast (but sometimes overcrowded breakfast location). I like the Resort more because the rooms are better looking and you aren't surrounded by noisy elevators, which is the case in the Hotel.
