Clean and updated boutique hotel without air conditioning.
Now, let’s talk about the air conditioning—or rather, the lack thereof. You see, in Europe, air conditioning is apparently regarded as some futuristic luxury only to be whispered about in hushed tones, as if a mere mention of it would summon a revolt. At the Hotel Wilenski, they’ve proudly chosen to uphold this tradition. But don’t worry—when the room hits a cozy 85 degrees Fahrenheit, you can always open the windows! And then, dear traveler, you’ll have the distinct pleasure of experiencing Olsztyn’s finest rush-hour traffic up close and personal. Who needs sleep when you can be serenaded by honking horns, screeching brakes, and the occasional shout from pedestrians arguing in Polish?
The interiors, however, are beautifully updated, a feast for the eyes. It’s a shame that the rest of your body will be too busy sweating through the night to appreciate them fully. The décor is modern, chic, and clearly meant to distract you from the sauna-like experience of your room. A true feast for the senses—well, all senses except comfort.
