Great place to stay

We stayed here priamrily because it was close (15 minutes walking distance) to the Poznan International Fair. What a surprise. The welcome was so warming and helpful and this continued throughout our stay. The owner and her daughters could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. Definitely recommend Retro Apartamenty for anyone staying in Poznan.

Great Stay

Flawless execution, clean, comfortable, affordable. Excellent value and close to both the train station, convention center, and downtown. I never saw the staff and never had to because everything was organized well. Email was all the communication needed during the stay.

Exactly as pictured & a short walk to the centre

Following some confusion about whether we had a booking or not. We got a choice of rooms which was a lovely touch.
The owner & her daughter were very helpful & attended to all our needs (including using the car park to the rear of the hotel). We chose a small room from those seen on the first floor & this was very spacious. It also looks exactly as it does in the photographs which has a small kitchen including a fridge.
There is a local police station nearby which was reassuring, there are plenty of small shops in the vicinity & it is a short walk to the city centre.
There was some noise during the night, however, this was from other guests leaving & nothing the owner could resolve.
Tip: Contact the apartments before you go.

Brilliant find, great location

This is a superb place to stay. It is a large building divided into apartments some with kitchen facilities. Ours had masses of space for two people and was beautifully furnished in a old fashioned style, hence the name.
It is about 10 minutes walk from the opera (highly recommended) and 20 minutes form the main square in the Old Town. The owner spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful.
There a lots of restaurants nearby and a great ice cream parlour. If self catering there is a supermarket and a great bakery worth seeking out nearby on Dabrowskeigo.
We really enjoyed our stay in Poznan and would recommend this apartment. There is lots to do both locally and day trips by bus or train.

Unique and lovely experience

We only stayed here one night en route to Warsaw from Berlin, booking at relative short notice. It was a great option and we're glad we chose this establishment. The owner is lovely and appears willing to do whatever she can to make your stay a pleasant one. We quite like independence on our travels and the room suited us well - a kitchenette facility and table/chairs meant we could prepare basic meals rather than eat out (which we were ready for after a couple of hotels prior to this). Wifi was good, secure parking was great for peace of mind. It was a little difficult to reach due to roadworks not being noted on our GPS, but once we arrived we walked everywhere we needed to go. A great value option for your stay in Poznan.
