The place in Ruciane Nida

Go there. Hire a boat. Have a lunch or a dinner. Swim. Enjoy.
You can hire a sailing boat, a kayak/rowing boat or a houseboat. Small motor boats are also available.
Avoid summer peak (weekends July through August).

Nice setting terrible service

We arrived at 17.00 order taken at 10 past, to be fair they were busy. At 17.35 the waitress let us know one of the dishes ordered was no longer available, we ordered a different dish. The restaurant was now a bit quieter, at 18.00 we asked how long the food would be and were told it was just coming. At 18.10 we gave up and paid for our drinks and left. As we were paying another customer was complaining they had been waiting for over an hour for their food too.
I can understand a wait when a place is busy but not to let your guests know that there will be a delay is very unprofessional.
We found a much better restaurant in the marina in the town.

Bautiful Marina in a perfect location

The marina is perfectly located and the boats are very clean and well equipped. I was here 3 times already and I keep recommending it to my friens who all loved this place after a 1st visit. This is one of the nicest spots for rest in masuria.

if you are looking for a perfect port to stay for a few days - you just found one :)

every year it is a must-go! it has won a "best inland port" badge several times now and there are reasons for that. first of all - it is surprisingly cheap, what is very important for sailors and i hope it never changes. the toilettes are simply perfect - spacious, always hot water, also not expensive, considering some ports in this region, charging ridiculous amounts of money just to keep yourself clean. the terrain on the whole is maintained at top quality - there are trash bins everywhere so there is no reason even for idiots to throw away their trash anywhere else, the grass is beautiful, there is a nice big restaurant with gorgeous views both inside and outside. the outside seating is fully covered, because it is one huge terrace, so the elements never disturb your meals. the cuisine is simple and honest. i had one failed meal there, among literally hundreds i ate there so it is quite and achievement.
if you are looking for a perfect port to stay for a few days - you just found one :)

Nice environment

We've stayed for 3 nights. Rooms very comfortable, bathroom as well although a bit tight (one person can stay and turn around only to get to the equipment). The table could be a bit larger.
Nice view at least in our room (lake view). Good restaurant on site, but no standard breakfast available (composing from the menu is very expensive).
