Worth staying, great food.

We spent several nights at Zamek Sarny. The hotel is very nice, being a refurbished historical landmark. The rooms are comfortably appointed, the bathrooms are modern, and the area is quiet and beautiful. The hotel and restaurant staff were uniformly gracious, professional, and welcoming. My poor command of Polish was not an impediment as most spoke English. The food in the restaurant was quite good, and breakfast was great. The beer selection is from local breweries (that are very good). The grounds are historic and fun to explore. My 14 year old son really enjoyed it. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful and peaceful weekend

We return after 3 years and it was again a wonderful experience. The restoration of the castle is being done with care and expertise.
The new restaurant is very cosy and the food was excellent. We had a fantastic family room that was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We did hiking in the neighbouring hills and explored the area. We also enjoyed watching the castle storks

Under renovation since 2014.

Another facility in Lower Silesia that needs a large financial injection. At most, it can count on a small alms from the current Minister of Culture. This is the reality now. The complex of buildings has been under renovation since 2014. A lot of work is waiting for better times. Despite the problems, the hotel and restaurant operate smoothly. The unique palace temple has beautiful baroque frescoes. The chapel of St. John of Nepomucen, which was founded in 1738, is the biggest local attraction. Sarny Castle was built in 1590. It was later expanded. The farm buildings are also very impressive. The large brick stable is particularly eye-catching. Unfortunately, it was also ruined. It is partly a restaurant. There are plans to rebuild the stables for use as a restaurant. The facility is open to visitors from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can move around the buildings quite freely and even climb the castle tower. Admission was free.

We are trying to visit all the castles and palaces of Lower Silesia, this time we chose the Sarny Castle - an impressive building, but requiring huge financial outlays. We wholeheartedly wish the owners strength and perseverance. Let's save what we can

Niestety rozczarowanie.

"-" Nieadekwatna cena noclegu w stosunku do oferty hotelu. Stylowy pokój, niestety słabo doświetlony i bez klimatyzacji, klimatyczna kawiarnia i restauracja, to jednak trochę zbyt mało. Insekty, które wchodziły do pokoju przez okno dachowe. Za niższą lub podobną cenę, pałace w Kotlinie Jeleniogórskiej oferują znacznie więcej. Czytając opinie klientów spodziewałem się lepszej oferty.
