Good, modest hotel
I recently stayed for 2 nights at the Garden Hotel in Siedlce. I think I may have been the only guest on one of those nights, but they did have a fairly larger number of guests for some sort of dinner event on one evening and I think some of those guests stayed over until the next morning.
This is a rather new hotel in a refurbished/renovated building and it has a modern elevator. The woman I believe to be the owner does not speak English, but some of the young women working there do. The hotel/restaurant is very clean and the room renovations nicely done. I had a double room and I found the beds and pillows very comfortable. The room was a little narrow with not much room between the foot of the bed and the desk, but the bathroom was surprisingly large. The shower was quite good and there was plenty of hot water. There are liquid soap dispensers in the bathroom, but no other toiletries. There was also adequate closet/shelf space.
Breakfast was modest, but fresh, with a choice of juice along with tea, coffee (no decaf!), bread, cheese, cold sliced meat, jams, butter, and deviled eggs. There are no hot choices.
The hotel is located just about 50 meters from the train station. The hotel is accessed through the parking lot. (The property also houses a fairly large garden center.) The hotel costs very little and definitely is worth more than one pays. Just remember that it is a modest hotel and I think you will be happy there.
