Great design, unfortunately gaps in service and standards

Centrally located with high-quality minimalist design, the room therefore feels a bit cold, but stylish. Breakfast buffet good by Polish standards! Unfortunately, the bathtub jets are broken, and we had romping, screaming children in the hallway half the night; even a warning from the reception did nothing, and the children were romping through the hallways again before we even got up. We had to share the breakfast buffet with dogs, which is also a no-go for a hotel in this category.
Pretty, but not recommended with the current hotel policy.

5-star hotel with slight weaknesses

The Grandhotel Monopol is indisputably one of the top addresses in Wrocław. The rooms are spacious and furnished in an industrial design. The bed could use a new mattress. The wellness area is also a bit dusty. Sharp-edged stones at the edge of the pool and desolate technology dampen the enjoyment. The staff is friendly but not very motivated. Empty glasses are consistently ignored. Overall good hotel with room for improvement. The sensational rooftop terrace makes up for a few shortcomings...

Just called in to visit the sky bar. What a warm welcome from Bart!
Nothing too much trouble.
Great glass of dry Prosecco on a very humid day.
Sadly we were unable to stay for lunch - the menu looked divine, and very reasonable prices... so we will return!
