Hyrny is located in the mountain resort of Zakopane, 400 metres from Krupówki, the city’s main street. The guest house offers rooms with a free internet connection. The rooms of the Hyrny have a simple interior design.

Absolutely not recommended
Unfortunately, you have to award at least one star . Although this facility is not even worth a star.
We wanted to spend a nice family holiday over New Year's Eve.... And ended up in an ageing youth hostel. Apparently without staff. Because in a week, nobody even managed to clean our room. We had to take care of towels and garbage bags ourselves. The breakfast....... joa canteen anno 1999 I would say if you were lucky at least the coffee machine worked.
Pool and spa area.... I prefer not to talk about it ... not even remotely comparable to the pictures.
The location is actually the only thing you can really rate positively 10 min to the center and next door a supermarket. But that would be all positive . Which has nothing to do with the hotel .

communist era left over?
The room was very small, not enough space for 2 people to pass. The is exaggerated by the 1.5 twin bed (already pushed against the wall). There are no face cloth or hand towel, so I had to wet the towel to clean my face. there is no shampoo or conditioner, only a miniature soap 1 inch in diameter. No tissue, or safe or air-conditioner. We had to leave the window open for some air but can hear the next door people. All this can be tolerated if not for one of the mattresses, it feels and sounds like one that people throw out in alleyways, guaranteeing to give you backache. No, I would not stay here again. It looks like something left over from communist's era in appearance and service that has not moved on. We have been happy with our accommodation to Poland in the last 5 days

Didn't give me the room I wanted and didn't come up with a solution
I booked a room at the Hyrny this week and specified that instead of a twin bedroom, I wanted a double bed - I was travelling with my partner so twin beds would be weird...! When I booked online, I realised that the room said 'twin or double', however they gave you the option to specify, so I did. Why bother asking people what they want if you're just going to give them whatever you have? When I asked the receptionist about it, she was apologetic to be fair, however the only excuse she gave me was 'it's high season and we don't have any more available' ... yet when looking online after this conversation, I saw some double rooms (just a double bed and not a twin) available for our dates online. So, what, if people booked these and turned up to a twin bed, they'd be told the same thing? I don't think this is good enough at all. Me and my partner were so disappointed by their room offering and their lack of motivation to do anything to satisfy us as unhappy customers that we booked another hotel that did have a double bed and left within the hour. The worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. Also the place looked like it needs sprucing up a bit - a tad dated in my opinion.

Hyrny zakopane
I booked 4 rooms in Hyrny. I was traveling with small children.
I had seen prices advertised for lunch and dinner but when I asked about both at reception I was told both were unavailable.
The location is great. Rooms clean.
I booked 3 of the rooms with the free cancellation option however they took payment immediately after I booked and shouldn't have.
We had breakfast included. Unfortunately this was very disappointing. There was nothing for the 4 children to eat and when I asked for a drink for them I was told there was none. Breakfast consisted of cold scrambled eggs cucumber tomato and bread and one cereal. We arrived for breakfast at 8.30 even though breakfast was served to 9.30. very disappointed.
We couldn't sleep with the noise in the hotel even throughout the night. Not at all what we expected

nikomu nie radzę
Jedyne, co można uznać za plus dla hotelu, to jego położenie. Reszta, kompletna porażka. Mieliśmy opcję z obiadokolacją. Nigdy nie spotkałem się z taką obiadokolacją. To były po prostu obiady bez żadnego wyboru dań. Po wejściu do pokoju żona w pierwszej kolejności wzięła się za sprzątanie. Wszędzie kilkutygodniowy kurz. Na uwagę zwróconą w recepcji, żadnej reakcji. Personel nieuprzejmy. Zapomnijcie np. o "dzień dobry" ze strony pokojowych, czy recepcjonistek. Pokoje, jak i cały hotel w stylu " wczesny Gierek". W pokojach brak zasłon, czy żaluzji, więc tylko współczuć gościom w lecie. Nigdy więcej tu nie przyjedziemy.
