Top hotel at Caminho!

Everything was really great here. My wife had slightly injured herself a day earlier and therefore could not carry a backpack. Then we called there and the owner made us clear a pickup service for backpacks (it was at 8 in the evening). It all worked out and we were very happy! She also offered to pick us up from the Caminho when we could no longer. The hostess was generally very nice and accommodating.
The hotel is very clean. Rooms are cool and large. In the evening you will be driven to the restaurant if you want and breakfast is also available (this already from 6:00 which rarely occurs on the route).
The facility is nice and very clean. That’s all there is to say.
Great hotel, I would go back anytime.

Misleading arrows

The Gandra Quinta does not hesitate to deceive the pilgrims with fake yellow arrows to earn more visitors. Because of this dishonest intent, we end up having to go a few more unnecessary kilometers at the end of a long day of walking.
The Quinta da Gandra does not share the spirit of the Santiago Way and thus does not deserve to benefit from the pilgrimage route.

Historical setting with country family hospitality

For anyone wanting an accomodation experience in an historical setting they should stay here. Although a little off the comino track the homestay feel afforded by Isabella and her family was second to none. Isabella picked us up on our way into the area and next morning drove us to rejoin comino next day. Excellent spacious rooms that open into lush gardens are additional highlights Chris and Glenn -Australia

Peregrinando entre amigos a Santiago

Agradable lugar y entorno bucólico. Mafalda ha sido nuestro angel especial. Acogida cálida, con plena disposicion y cercana. Ambiente algo húmedo solucionado también con calefaccion efectiva. Recomendable sin duda.

Aanrader als je van rust en ruime houdt.

Uitstekend hotel rural, met fantastische ligging, heerlijk rustig en erg aardige eigenaar met zijn vrouw. Mooi en goed onderhouden zwembad. Schone en ruime kamers, die elk buiten een terras hebben. Mooi en ruim sanitair. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Een aanrader kortom.
