a charming place to stay in a cosy city

Excellent location in the centre, but a quiet side street. The room is beautiful and well equipped with everything needed for a short stay: a coffee machine, tea kettle, microwave. A nice walk-in shower and a heated towel rack. Plenty of space for storage.
Beautiful view!! on a historic centre.
Nearby: cafes, a wine bar, shopping streets.

Pleasant stay in Caldas Da Rainha

Brand new, straight out of the box guesthouse in a great location.
PRO’s -
1. Clean and fresh.
2. Beautiful building very well decorated.
3. Location can’t be bettered.
4. House manager, Teresa, very responsive to any problems.
5. Excellent value.
CON’s -
1. Noisy….no real noise insulation between the rooms.
2. No shared kitchen so no coffee, tea or breakfast service.
3. Room was a little damp but not helped by awful weather. Rooms heated and cooled by A/C but this can cause humidity issues. A portable electric radiator would help.
4. Our room had an en suite retrofitted so made the room a little tight.
Make sure and visit Casta 76 wine bar….a mere 2 minute stumble from the guesthouse.
