Holidays and Peace

Me and my wife looking for places for summer holidays in August, after some searches by booking for places quiet, quiet and away from the bustle - we appeared Ikigai B&B, in Carvalhal.
The hosts Anne and Paul (Chef of the Kitchen) couple extremely friendly and fun, left us at ease with a wonderful welcome.
A modern and cozy house, clean and comfortable rooms, pool, impeccable cleanliness, a stunning view and a 5-star treatment, from arrival to our farewell.
Breakfast is a movie thing. Daily Paul presented us with his creativity: fresh fruit cups of the most varied possible, a unique presentation and harmony of the dishes to be served. All done on time, natural yogurts, toasts, eggs and pancakes of the best quality.
A place where nature determines the rhythm. By the sun more beautiful than other, since accommodation was at a high point of the region.
We felt welcomed, it seemed like an embrace from a relative that we did not see in time.
Always available and with a nice conversation, they gave us tips on restaurants, beaches and events in the area.
We had a wonderful holiday on this stay and I recommend everyone to do the same. I promise you won't regret it for a moment.
We just want to thank the conversations with a good wine around the table, talking about family, work and relationships.
Congratulations to Anne/Paul for providing unforgettable moments to her guests.
If we get a chance, we'll definitely come back.

Pleasant stay

Had a wonderful stay. Pleasant reception and very well cared for. Clean rooms, good bed, large private bathroom. Breakfast was great and lots of choice. And alternately.Every day belly well round at breakfast. Service good , towels were replaced in time. Enough amenities so you don't have to drag too much extra yourself such as a large pool towel, hairdryer,... possibility to wash and dry. Sights nearby and the beach also easily accessible for sea lovers Definitely recommended!

Hospitality with a griffin in a unique location!

A great place for peace and space. The owners of the B&B are very welcoming and the breakfast is exquisite. A unique location and a unique experience. For me ern 10+!

Blissful stay in a beautiful location

At Ikigai it is fantastic to stay, beautiful spacious rooms with a separate bathroom, a rich fresh breakfast with quality local products, a lovely saltwater swimming pool, a spacious garden and beautiful terraces. We were particularly impressed by the helpfulness and Welcoming of Inne and Paul, a Belgian couple. You can also dine at their place on request, a real treat because Paul is a chef by profession. What we liked most is the location, perfect for driving to the coast or visiting plenty of beautiful cultural locations.
