Experience inheritance onzenas

Positive points:
- Great place to rest. Nice pool. Spaces careful, clean and well decorated.
- Great breakfast.
- D's sympathy. Cidalia that at this time, at least on the date of our stay, "does the house". It is a tireless person, very helpful, overwhelming dedication and who makes a lot of effort to keep the "house standing". The rest of the staff, from our experience, were empathic.
- They make lunch and dinner for the customers with homemade food and take advantage of what the land gives to make whenever possible.
- has funny trails to walk and see animals in the distance like horses (I think the ones we saw were already from other heritage). Sometimes you can also see deer according to the domestic but we did not have this experience.
- on the long road on land beaten up to the herd, by car, we saw horses and cows, and, already in the estate, the pony and donkey Pavarotti.
Negative points:
- there were very recent changes in the staff because we realized and felt that interfered with our experience in comparison with the experience that our friends had prior to our stay and in comparison with comments I read and compliments to staff people who are no longer there. I felt that the staff members are currently very overloaded and small incidents (which can happen anywhere) cause great pressure on these professionals and interferes with the dynamics.
- the prices of lunch and dinner are completely disproportionate to what is being served. Pay 22€ per main dish only (rice with fried potatoes and grilled turkey steaks or pork to the Portuguese (no almonds, only meat) or fried potatoes with fish) plus everything else apart (entries, soup (4,5€), drinks, desserts, etc.). Supposedly it is self service (the main dish) and the customer can serve itself several times but it happened that there was no more food in some situations and there was a day that I paid and hardly ate dinner.
This becomes especially "abusive" because the heritage is isolated, 10km from any village with a supermarket, because you can not consume other products in the heritage coming from outside (except for children). In addition, I was charged children's menu for one of my children when I didn't want the child ever used children's menu, but it was corrected at check out after my referral.
Therefore, the precarious lunch and dinner menu has recently changed, the values are more expensive. The menu has several dishes but in practice at each dinner we were offered only one dish (always at the same price). The quality of what is made is good but the prices are disproportionate to what is being served, especially because it is not a restaurant, they do not pass bill for what is being consumed (at least until then I did not receive any bill), so the practice of current prices is inadequate.
