We arrived at 2 PM. Room was not ready. Check in time was 3 PM. So that was fine.
We came back at 3 PM. They needed more time to clean. Staff asked for my CC. They wrote the information on a piece of paper. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
no towels in the room which is fine, maybe they forgot, but we recived the towels 4 hours later after 3 calls and going down to the front desk once.
Otherwise, the restaurant was great. Their breakfast and set up was the best among the other 10 hotels we stayed.

Nice room, terrible services.

If you enter a room in the Hilton chain, you expect at least to find a stocked minibar: ours was desolately EMPTY. Not even a complimentary bottle, as is standard in 4-star hotels. Upon requesting two bottles of water, they replied rudely from the reception that we would have to pay for them immediately... a whole 15€!
Furthermore: we were a couple and the towels were provided for one person. To get more: 3 phone calls and half an hour of waiting. Also: when grabbing the toilet paper, the holder came off the wall. The lighting ignition and selection system is extremely complicated. At the rooftop bar, there is only one person serving all the customers, who, moreover, does not speak foreign languages, did not even understand the request for a white Port wine (!!!) and brought us another drink....maybe white wine, maybe vermouth, we didn't understand what.

The hotel is placed nicely near the historic center but unfortunately facing a very busy road.
Pool area and "roof top" bar was a disaster - a very small and overcrowded pool and a bar where nobody could want to hang out.
An army of ants marching across our daughters room but thankfully we immediately got a new room for them.

Another pleasant stay in Evora Portugal

The hotel is a pleasant surprise in Portugal. Modern with all the familiar features of a Hilton Garden Inn with a Portuguese flair. It’s close to the center of the city. I would defiantly go back if traveling in the area. I’m a Hilton fan and this watch a pleasant stay in a lovely small city. The breakfast was also great with an awesome selection!
