Very nice stay at the Spot Ofir

Very nice stay at the Spot Ofir!
After a long and tiring ride, my wife and I arrived by bicycle from Oporto.
We rang the bell at the door intercom and we were greeted by Sandra who came to let us in a minute later. She welcomed us warmly and showed us where to put our bikes in the yard beside the pool. Sandra's husband even helped us resolve an issue with our bike bags. A solution that we appreciated all the way to Santiago!
Sandra recommended a restaurant in walking distance and it was great value and great food.
Everything was very clean. We appreciated our room and bathroom and slept very comfortably as the location was very quiet. We also appreciated the power outlets that also incorporate USB outlets.
We had a nice communal breakfast in the morning, toast, jam, coffee, cheese, yogurt, ham, juice etc. Sandra was at hand to help everyone.
Thanks to Sandra and her husband!!
I recommend and would definitely repeat!

A jewel on the Portuguese way!

What a beautiful hostel and welcome! The innkeeper Sandra welcomed us as if we were family. I lead a group of 13 pilgrims and we loved this place. The pool was very appreciated after our first big day walking. Everything was perfect. I’m going back next year.

Camino stop day 2

The hostess is fantastic—very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was good and fun experience with other pilgrims. The rooms are very clean. The hostel is close to a few restaurants and not far off the Camino path. I would definitely stay here again.

Great!

A great hostal in a modern house. Great kitchen and lounge areas and Very helpful host. Very quiet. Small supermarket just down the road. Very clean. Once the swimming pool is fixed it will be great for a post walk dip. There is a friendly dog, just for those allergic.

What to say…. from the kindness of the owner, to the cleanliness, to the organization….everything was super!!!!
Calling it a hostel is a shame..
As we have difficulties with Spanish and also with English, we had no problems thanks to the helpfulness of the lady who welcomed us
