A magical experience
I am writing this comment after spending two weeks in the Algarve. This place is definitely worth a visit, it is a piece of paradise with fantastic hosts.
We had a wonderful stay as a couple at Solar Bisavô. The place is quiet, full of charm, decorated with refinement and lots of attention to detail.
The hospitality and hospitality of Pascale and Igor made our stay particularly unique. Their kindness, availability and generosity touched us very much.
We felt at home, pampered from beginning to end.
A suspended moment, imbued with sweetness and beauty. A huge thank you!

A Peaceful Retreat in the Portuguese Countryside
We spent a week at Solar do Bisav and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The place is beautifully renovated with great attention to detail – everything is tastefully and harmoniously designed, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh, varied, and full of flavor, with plenty of fruits and vegetables – including delicious tomatoes from their own garden.
The hosts were exceptional – attentive, warm, and truly committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. They struck the perfect balance between being personal and always professional.
The garden is lovely and well kept, and the pool area is the perfect spot to unwind in the afternoon sun.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well run place to stay in Portugal.

A little paradise in the Algarve
Staying at Solar do Bisavô was simply magical. Igor and Pascale are absolute gems – incredibly kind, generous, and truly devoted to making every guest feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth is the soul of this place.
The breakfast is a highlight in itself: beautifully presented, fresh, and full of love – especially the coffee, made to perfection by Igor every morning. The decoration throughout the house is tasteful and refined, elegant without ever feeling overdone. There's a calming, understated beauty in every detail.
The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful – the kind of silence that lets you truly recharge. The pool is gorgeous, and the garden is full of life. I’ll never forget picking sun-ripened oranges straight from the trees.
With only a handful of rooms, the place feels intimate and serene – perfect for relaxing. And I have to give a special mention to Pascale’s cooking... just wow.
I truly hope to return very soon – not only for the place, but for the people. A heartfelt thank you, and see you again soon!

We stumbled upon this bed and breakfast by chance while browsing Google Maps, and what a fortunate find it was! Tucked away in the hills above Faro, this brand-new property is a true hidden gem that we almost hesitate to share, as we’d love to keep it all to ourselves. However, the charming couple who run this delightful retreat deserve all the success that will surely come their way.
Open only since May, this might just be our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. The bed and breakfast is set in a lovely manor home, renovated in true Algarvian style by a delightful French couple, Pascale and Igor. Their attention to detail has transformed this estate into a beautiful haven of relaxation and quiet luxury. The rooms are large, airy, and tastefully minimalistic, with well-chosen antiques and vintage furniture adding warmth and character to the decor. The bathrooms, while simple, offer a touch of luxury with spacious walk-in showers and dual sinks—a thoughtful addition for couples traveling together.
Each room boasts a large terrace, perfect for morning yoga as the sun rises over the distant sea—a truly breathtaking way to start the day. While the garden is still a work in progress, the pool area is complete, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas providing a serene spot to unwind.
