It was a nice and clean room. Staff very pleasant. The only problem there is no iron to ion my clothes. Called the desk but they don’t have one

Very disappointing experience here and we were thankful it was just a 1 night stay. We had booked 2 triple rooms and arrived about 2.20pm following a 400km drive. Reception staff informed me we couldnt check in until 3pm with no offer to store our baggage etc in the interim period so we had to take back to the car. On entering 1 of our rooms we realised immediately the AC wasn't working and asked reception if they could pls have fixed because temps were very high and we had 3 people sharing a room. We had to enquire again at 9pm as we didnt hear back and were informed that it was broken and they didnt have any other rooms so we would have to tolerate the heat. Our 2nd room had working AC with a temp that couldn't be controlled so they were freezing through the night and had shutters that didn't work so had no way of having privacy from outside their room. They didnt have a shower curtain and the TV didn't work. There was also no working WiFi and no help at all from staff on any issue that was raised. Overall a very disappointing stay and not somewhere any of us would wish to stay again.

Mediocre

The hotel is very well located, just 10 minutes from the sanctuary. It is evident that it has been recently renovated. The facilities are good.
The 3 stars are due to the terrible room service. On the day of check-in, the rooms were perfect, and on the second day, the beds were unmade, the comforter was stretched out, the mattress was exposed, the bathroom trash cans were not emptied, they forgot the towels, and there was barely any cleaning. We reported it at the front desk, but they did nothing about it.
The breakfast was mediocre; for a short stay, it is acceptable. Too much industrial pastry, little fruit, dairy... Nothing varied and scarce.

Decent hotel , very close to the sanctuary, staff not very helpful, wasn’t adviced that breakfast has to be reserved the night before , other than that ok
