The reception staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. A special thank you goes to Joao at the front desk for his outstanding professionalism and courtesy, and to Diego, who was exceptional and friendly while helping us select the perfect room.We travel from Australia to Europe every two years and have visited nearly 10 European countries so far. This was our first time in Portugal, and we can confidently say this room and hotel are the absolute best we have experienced in Europe regarding quality, top-tier facilities, and staff friendliness.The breakfast was beautifully presented—focused on simplicity, perfect execution, and high quality. Diana was an absolute standout! She is a brilliant multi-tasker and all-rounder who cooked my breakfast eggs to absolute perfection.As a professional hotelier myself—having opened four and five-star chain hotels worldwide, worked internationally as an Executive Chef and Director of Operations for major hotel companies, and won a local Australian MasterChef award—I do not hand out praise lightly. I have the professional capacity to evaluate high standards, and the team at this hotel represents a benchmark that other European hotels should strive to copy.Whenever we return to Fátima, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful team for an unforgettable experience!

Pleasant surprise

We were very pleasantly surprised.
Room clean in the decoration and cleaning.
No carpets and other unnecessary tapestries.
We will definitely be back.

Recommended

Great location, nice team, hotel-owned underground parking, very clean and modern rooms; the only downside was a broken window that let noise from a highway into the room.
The bar can make cocktails!
For breakfast:
Food waste could be avoided if, instead of the 'Principal things' (a very lavish selection on a tiered stand), breakfast preferences were asked in advance, as many full plates unfortunately go back.
In our opinion, this is not up to date.

AN EXPERIENCE OF FAITH... AND MORE.

I stayed at the Mercure in Fatima only
for one night, but it was enough for me to understand that it was special.
Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful environment: well-kept, clean, elegant, respecting the environment with the "minimal" choices that make it even more beautiful.
The occasion was our 50th wedding anniversary, which we wanted to celebrate with a faith journey dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima.
A profound experience, and the hotel made it truly enjoyable.
