The best holiday that we have had

We stayed at No 2 The Palms and it was pure luxury. We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend to anyone. The location was superb and the mixture of being able to use the facilities as well as having our own private area was just what we wanted. The staff were incredible and nothing was too much. Maria in particular was a real ambassador for Vila Castelo Parque and so helpful. Thank you for such a great break!

Lovely staff, lovely hotel, great location

We have been going to Ferragudo for about 15 years and this is the first time we've stayed at Vila Castelo Parque.
First the staff are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fantastic, I'm not sure how new this hotel is but the rooms are so clean and look new. The kitchen is equipped amazingly, you have a full fridge / top freezer, fully working oven and hob if you wanted to cook, all utensils, full sets of plates, bowls, cups, glasses (including wine / prosecco glasses). We cooked a few times as we stayed for 2 weeks and occasionally we stayed later round the pool, ate in the room and then went out for drinks.
There is a large dining table for 8 people (in our room) outside balcony with table for 6 people, sofas, desk if you wanted to sit and work, 3 double bedrooms - room 1 had a double bed, the other 2 rooms downstairs had twin beds with their own bathroom.
The bathrooms were very clean and everything was working as it should.
There is a pool bar which is always equipped and had friendly bar staff.
The pool area was quiet, we were a family with 4 older children and we did feel a little like we were being too noisy when playing games in the pool, not sure if this is more of an adults only hotel - but it's not advertised as that.
We have a swimmer in the family and unfortunately the pool was too small for him to practice in. I haven't marked a rating down for that because it's not the hotel's fault we have a swimmer who wants to practice while he's on holiday, I'm just stating that the pool is fairly small.
It is however heated so lovely and warm.
The location is great, just 5 minute walk to the beach where you have multiple lovely restaurants, including Club Nau which has events on and great food.
It's also a short walk (probably 10 minutes) in the other direction to the square where there are many other restaurants and shops.
When we left, our son left his Switch in the room and the woman on reception text me to say she will hold it until we return next year. Really lovely staff there.

Spacious and a lovely view!

Very clean and spacious apartment. Some shelving in the upstairs bathroom would be very useful, as well as instructions for various appliances.

Excellent!

Fantastic Stay! Our apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The whole site was clean and secure, and only a 10 minute walk to the centre/beach/restaurants etc. The pool area was great, with plenty of sunbeds.
The best part, however, had to be the staff.....what an amazing team, super friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to you all for a great stay,
