Good little stopover hotel with a kitchen and a washing machine available.

A good little hotel (8 rooms), clean and with comfortable beds. It is well located in Horta and parking is relatively easy in the neighborhood. We appreciated the availability of a small shared kitchen with utensils, two refrigerators, filtered water, and a washer/dryer. Among the small downsides: the air conditioning was a bit noisy (as were the outdoor units near the window) and the breakfast was average (to be taken at the bakery right downstairs using a coupon). Breakfast consists of a sandwich, a pastry (or fruit cup), a fruit juice, and a coffee. It is crowded around 8 a.m. and unfortunately the terrace is popular with the many smokers.

Disappointed with the accommodation

As a couple in Horta, we had booked a room in this accommodation
The room was clean but really too small and especially without an outside view
The window with a hill view overlooked the roofs of the neighboring building
We also had noise likely related to the very close proximity of the bakery (air conditioning?)
No one at check-in and we did not find the welcome worthy of a guesthouse
The breakfast at the bakery was decent but with limited choices

Small, but spotlessly clean

Small, neat accommodation in the center. The price of the room included a very good breakfast in the cafe downstairs. The staff was friendly and waited for us when we arrived late.
The room was tiny, but very clean.

Great service!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Carla. Our room was ready upon arrival. I though it was a nice touch with two tarts for us to enjoy. The breakfast is right below the hotel at the patisserie and was delicious and filling. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Small room, small breakfast

This pension is a little hard to find as the main floor of the building is a bakery/cafe with rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the name of the hotel is flat against the building, high up. Room is basic but has been recently renovated so it is pleasant. Very clean. No hair dryers in the rooms; one is on a shelf in the common kitchen. Receptionist helpful in setting up WiFi which seems to be a problem with iPhones. Parking is a real issue and we had to walk several blocks back to the hotel every day. Breakfast is a chit for the bakery (popular with locals) downstairs: 1 coffee, 1 juice, 1 ham and/or cheese sandwich, 1 dessert pastry. If you have a gluten allergy or are vegetarian/vegan you will be very hungry. The hotel is located at the one end of the quayside strip, close to the Pico ferry.
