Great value and location for the price. A bit rustic and could use some renovation for the closets and paint for the hallway walls, but overall extremely clean and pleasant. Breakfast was very good.

Very clean but very basic room. Loved the breakfast. There is no terrace as mentioned. The bed is tiny. The bed is not comfortable

Please note that this review is for the Hotel Solar do Bom Jesus in Santa Cruz - I was asked to move to this hotel when Hotel Amparo requested that I move to their sister hotel due to short-notice issues with the hotel. This was fine for me and it was handled very well by both hotels.

Friendly helpful staff. Our stay was in an apartment, quite large but dated.

TERRIBLE!!! I couldn’t check in because there is no one at the reception for late check in and also was told that they would leave a key to enter but it was nowhere to be found!!
