Unbelievably perfect!

I booked this hotel very last minute on the day of arrival because of an Airbnb disaster and wow, it couldn’t have been more perfect. First of all, the dog is 100/10 dog friendly - Milo, my pup, was treated better than me. All of the staff knew his name, they always brought him water and treats, he could roam around without issue. It was amazing.
Secondly, the grounds were so peaceful and lush - not always something you find in the Melides/Comporta area as it can be quite dry.
The food. Wow. So fresh and healthy AND tasty.
We had the most amazing 2 days and will definitely be back. It’s also only 10 mins drive from the beach which is great.
The front desk agent, Matissart, was soooo helpful and welcoming. He even gave me a little gift on departure. & Fernanda at the restaurant was just so lovely.

Magic view and energy

Karine and her team have created an incredibly beautiful place. The rooms are superbly laid out. The overall design has been developed with great care and attention to detail. This creates the special atmosphere that makes the Alentejo coast so unique. It’s probably not for people who are always quick to demand luxury. Because the magic here lies in its simplicity. Not everyone understands that.

The Quinta Amala was an amazing place. The location with the view over the landscape with rice fields and pine woods was beautiful. Each cabana, house, had privacy and were souronded by beautiful plants and flowers. Beautiful architecture of the houses, the pool area, lounges and dining room.
We felt close to nature, silent and relaxing.
The food was also very good, including the breakfast with local food.
The staff were all very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
We reaally want to go back!

THE MOST PERFECT PLACE TO STAY......

The most stunning location with wonderful views over the rice fields towards the ocean (breath taking sunsets), delicious organic really fresh food, wonderfully welcoming service and the perfect room - beautifully designed, so clean and minimal. My new favourite place! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Failures and good points

Room, bed and excellent view.
Giant communication failure, it was necessary to skip the gate to get back to the room after dinner. The pool with an injector on the suction floor, lighting with distance from the wall capable of causing injuries. Deck equally dangerous by the protruding screws.
There is no possibility of calling the reception during the night if there is any emergency or need.
We made the question of presenting these points and within 1 day the answer that was sent to us was that everything had already been solved or was already solved. Very bad.
