An experience not to be missed around Coimbra

Hotel and Restaurant. The restaurant has good taste and good food. Quiet and airy environment, achieved at the expense of good windows.
Today we depend a lot on not seeing a stupid customer with the phone screaming and that didn't happen

Poor Customer Service

I needed to speak to someone at the hotel, I was calling from the UK. On the website it says an international number and English as an option, by no. Person...... no English only Spanish.
A real shame as I wanted to surprise a guest who has had a tough time visiting her home village.
I appreciate not everyone in the world does but at hotels that except English I have found they normally do. Yes of course I do try some words in the language where I would go to be polite. But to say English on the site then say no.
Ruined the surprise I wanted to do for a special friend.

It was the first time we visited Miranda do Corvo, a welcoming place with good gastronomic places. Beautiful landscape

Classic hotel, with friendly and welcoming staff. Tidy and clean rooms as well as the bathroom. I made the reservation over the phone directly at the Hotel and received very good service and a warm welcome. Too bad it was just a weekend. I recommend visiting.
