Dreamlike beautiful

The whole stay at Monte do Cardal was wonderful. We were warmly welcomed and said goodbye. The room with bathroom was nice and super clean, we felt right at home. The pool with the loungers a dream and the breakfast was very delicious and left nothing to be desired.

A peaceful retreat with character

A great discovery in Odeceixe
Monte do Cardal was a great discovery.
There is a very calm and genuine energy throughout the space, noticeable from the moment you arrive, ideal for switching off. The surroundings are thoughtful and harmonious, with clear attention to detail. The breakfast is worth highlighting, with natural, fresh and very tasty products. The team was consistently welcoming and available, which adds to the overall experience.
Access by car to Odeceixe and the beach is close.
As a point for improvement, it would make sense to have more activities available on the property. In addition, there is a noticeable gap between the standard rooms, which are somewhat small for two people and do not offer twin beds, and the villas, which are significantly more spacious, suggesting room for an intermediate option.
Overall, a special place for those who value calm, nature and a good energy.

Wonderful complex with style and level

This wonderful privately run complex is a gem in the Odeceixe area. We felt very comfortable and regretted that we could not stay longer. The rooms are lovingly, stylishly and quality furnished. The entire complex with garden, large pool and many sunbeds and seating areas is a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the magnificent area. It also provides a good base for exploring the nearby coasts. Breakfast was fantastic. For dinner you can walk to the nearest village to a very good local fish restaurant. No wishes were left unfulfilled. The complex is only a few kilometers from the town of Odeceixe and we can highly recommend the journey, because you get a wonderful experience as a gift.

Exceptional Stay at this Lovely Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Monte do Cardal in early December. Andre greeted us at check in and he made us feel so welcome. He was incredibly helpful with his recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. We were provided with a delicious breakfast each morning that offered so many choices, including eggs made to order and plenty of meats and cheeses. The room was nicely updated with a very modern bathroom and comfortable bed. We appreciated being able to return to such a peaceful retreat at the end of each day of exploring. If we ever get the chance to return to this region of Portugal, we will definitely look to stay at Monte do Cardal once again. The combination of close proximity to the coast and exceptional hospitality provided by Andre makes this hotel an ideal destination for a great getaway.
