Charming Hostel & Amazing Brunch Spot!

Before I joined my partner in Lagos, for the second leg of our Algarve trip, I stayed at PTM Downtown and it totally exceeded my expectations. The hostel has such a cool, relaxed vibe and the common areas make it super easy to meet other travelers. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of everything.
One of the best parts? The on-site restaurant that serves brunch! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Whether you're staying at the hostel or just dropping in for a bite, this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

Amazing Hostel

This is one of, if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few having backpacked around the world a few years back. It is super clean, spacious, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool outside and the cafe downstairs has some of the nicest breakfast and lunch options in Portimao. All for a great price!! Highly Recommend!

Good environment terrible food

I came here for lunch. The menu consists of poke bowls, burgers, pancakes and other small snacks. I had a vegetarian burger: not homemade, frozen from the supermarket and it came with frozen fries and a mini salad. My friend had a poke bowl which was mediocre. Dessert: pear tart is a slice of ready made puff pastry with pear slices on top. I would not come here again. Very poor food however the space is pleasant and staff are friendly.

Quiet Average

Nice people! The Dorm-room is quiet small for four bunk beds, it would have been more enjoyable if there were only three of them and therefor space to walk and for the bags. Only one toilet and two showers for the ladies, the gents bathroom looked more generous. But the aircon was very nice and the breakfast in the small but lovely garden was a highlight.

Such a great hostel!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay in PTM DownTown. The location is great, the interior is stylish&cute, staff were really helpful and friendly, +brekfast at super nice outside area. But the thing we like the most is the awesome atmosphere here! We met lots of cool people from different countries and spent lots of evenings at the terrace having nice talks and good laughs. Would definitely recommend staying there! <3
