Lovely stay in Quebec

Be here now, October 11. Staying on the ground floor. Lovely spacious (living) room and full bathroom with everything as soap and towels provided. All the trimmings, coffee tea toaster etc. Wonderfully centrally located and bursting with top restaurants and bars. To Porto?-make a reservation here. Photos from the website are correct. The host is perfectly accessible and responds super fast-top! RECOMMENDED.

Ok for the price

A good place where to sleep, ok for the price. Ok you cannot expect huge luxury, but more than enough for the price. Clean and nice, in a central place, with everything reachable by feet, it's definetely a good option for your time in the city. Overall recommended.

Only partial refund during Covid-19 situation

Due to the Covid-19 situation across the world/Europe, our government was/is currently still banning international travels hence all airlines were/are forced to cancel international flights, so also our flights were canceled to and from Porto just a few days before our holidays. Even though we booked the non-refundable option we tried to reclaim back our costs as also on the booking.com website all properties were requested to fully refund customers who were not able to to travel due to traveling restrictions imposed by local governments due to COVID-19 situation. The property replied as we didn’t contact them 2 weeks upfront they were not agreeing to fully refund, and advised us to ask the airline to still arrange alternative flights so we could still stay there during the booked dates and on top claim for compensation from them as it’s not their fault that the airline cancelled last moment. But as I tried to explain it was also not the airline their fault, but these restrictions are were imposed by our government for everyone’s own safety. They offered 50% refund in the end, which we of course accepted and still appreciate, but am still a bit disappointed that they were encouraging us to still come even though it was/currently still is irresponsible and not even allowed to travel abroad and therefore did not offer full refund during these exceptional circumstances (especially as this was also mentioned on the booking.com website). We know we booked the non-refundable option on our own risk, but we planned and were really looking forward to go, but due to forced circumstances we were unfortunately not able to.

Location location

Comfortable reasonable and well located we spent five nights at Tiles apartments on Rua da Almada and felt we had a local address. Check in was complicated as the code for the key box did not operate but luckily cleaning personnel were on premises and assisted us. The space was fairly large and well equipped except for no dish towel and no paper filters for coffee maker. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast which was a big plus. Very enjoyable stay.

Ótima Opção de Hospedagem

Ótima localização, apartamento limpo, com manutenção adequada durante a hospedagem, com todos os recursos funcionando tais como: fogão elétrico, microondas, frigobar, máquina de lavar louças, ar condicionado, etc.
Não conhecemos pessoalmente o responsável - Nuno - mas que nos atendeu perfeitamente pelo WhatsApp.
